🍇WEDDING CAKE🍇

Yes, the floating tiers are supported by actual sticks. Wanted it to look like the cake was growing out of a tree for no reason.

Yes, I transported it and drove 10 miles an hour down Ponce. 🫠😂

Yes, I couldn’t sleep the night before cause I was sure it fell over in the cake fridge.

And yes, when @appleheadphotography takes photos of your cakes, it will look like it should be in a magazine. Period.

Thank you to @dklbfarmersmkt for having nice globe grapes at 8:45pm when I realized the cake needed more movement. (Yes, they are strung on floral wire-and yes they are heavy and I didn’t think that through)

Thank you @petitepue for helping me find sticks and engineer it, supporting me through my hot flashes while we decorated, and laughing at everyone who honked at us.

Enforcement should NOT be targeting long-term, law-abiding immigrants putting food on American tables. We need to create work permits for the immigrants feeding America. This is very personal to us and so many!

Currently TPS holders from El Salvador and Haiti face the loss of their status, DACA holders face unprecedented delays in renewals, and immigrant workers and business owners in food and other industries face a climate of fear.

It goes without saying that food prices are 35% higher than before COVID. Worker shortages across the food system could drive them higher. Work permits for long-term immigrants can help!

Cake Pharmacy is proud to stand with @beardfoundation @indprestaurants, Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association and ABIC Action, @SenatorDurbin @SenatorLujan @ChrisVanHollen @RepVindman and many others joining STT.

Wow! Realizing today that we have been slinging Allergy Friendly Goodies for 7 months today. 😱 Every Saturday! 😅 January and July were notably hilarious & extreme times in our outdoor establishment 😂 I’ve made perfect bread, and over proofed bread in the humidity. I’ve made awesome doughnuts and some which shall never be made again. I’ve done my best to listen to you and to myself …and the teenagers I birthed who I couldn’t do without in this endeavor.🥰

it’s meant the world to connect, serve you, and be in our community in this way. When I was trying to select 20 photos/items it was so hard because I have loved learning and creating for you all. I have grown a lot as a business owner and chef these last 4 months specifically and I’m overwhelmed with gratitude today. Thank you for driving, walking, and biking to us on your precious Saturdays.

ash-kuruka min kulli qalbī /أَشْكُركَ مِنْ كُلِّ قَلْبي!
Grazie dal profondo del cuore!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart and in the languages of my heart.

Oh, and shout out to @tanbrowncoffee and @thechaibox for making sure the coffee and chai always hit.

We cannot wait to grow with you all our lil carport bakery that could! Inclusive food for all!

Tell me in the comments your favorites and what you would love to see more of!

I love a challenge, and carving this tooth cake was actually as fun as it was challenging. Made for a orthodontist graduation - a huge accomplishment! Congrats Dr Singh!

When the blueberries were ripe and almost ripe, green, red, and blue… Im so grateful for the nature that feeds us, breathes with us, and reminds us that we are perfect at every stage - but that time and patience give the best flavor. 🫐🫐🫐

🤍WEDDING CAKE🤍

The brief was “oval vintage in your style, but less flower forward.” So only a few tiny hydrangeas from @floribundaflowerfarm along with the tightest piping I’ve ever done…. Until I couldn’t resist the urge to chaos pipe. 🤷🏽‍♀️ I am who I am. And I will use the entire cake board. 🤍

This cake was made for a couple where the groom had many allergies. So glad we could make a cake for their special day that he could enjoy worry-free.
