The Lazarus Pit FA

An ode to the DC comic fans -
Deliberately placing yourself in the pit. Going crazier and crazier falling into it. However, also feeding the obsession, keeping you coming back.

Esperanza (V14)

I’ve been daydreaming about this one.

I opened a new chapter this time last year.
From the beginning I was entranced. The movement, the holds, the history, it was too good not to simply try.

Over the scorching months I seemed to have acquired what was missing. Leading to this season, where it all began to connect rather quickly.

11/16/24, the pieces finally fell right into place.

Forever grateful to the process and to closing another fun chapter.

Onto the next.

NINE LIVES (V14) FA

Still can’t believe it. Came out almost every weekend the past few months trying this ridiculous boulder with @joshuarexroad and @dom_jones14. Thankful for their energy throughout the process, made some great memories out there.

Eli geniusly thought of the name as to dedicate the 9 days I’ve spent busting my butt on this boulder and to Lil Pump (our cat), who’s been a new-ish addition to Eli and i’s lives since just before the climbing season.

Been thinking about the grade a lot, I’m proposing V14 due to how low percentage the climb is, it felt impossible till the stars aligned on one perfect try. Who knows what others will think in the future, but I’m just so grateful for the opportunity to develop out here and very excited to establish some more bangers.
