This sport is truly unforgiving.

After 19 years in the sport of wrestling, my career has officially come to an end. It’s hard to fully explain what this sport has meant to me. Wrestling was never just something I did, it became part of who I am. It gave me direction when I needed it, tested me in ways nothing else could, and helped shape me into the man I am today. Sometimes, no matter how much you sacrifice, the outcome isn’t yours to decide. Even though my journey didn’t unfold exactly how I once pictured it, I am thankful God has put me exactly where I am supposed to be.

Wrestling taught me discipline when no one was watching, resilience when things felt impossible, and humility through both victories and defeats. It showed me the value of hard work, sacrifice, and committing yourself to something greater than your own comfort.

To my family, thank you for being my constant through it all. You supported me on the best days and carried me through the hardest ones. I would not be where I am today without your unwavering belief in me.

Thank you to Coach Todd and Jay Meneely, Nebraska Boyz, MWC, Millard South, Oregon State, and UNK for allowing me to live out this dream and represent something bigger than myself. Every program, every coach, and every teammate played a role in my story, and I am beyond grateful.

A special thank you to @unkwrestling for two unforgettable years and for giving me the opportunity to represent my home state. Getting to do it alongside my brother every step of the way made it even more meaningful.

While this chapter closes, I’m proud of everything I accomplished and everything the sport taught me. I have zero regrets.

I’m really excited to give back to the sport that gave so much to me and to see it from a different perspective now. I’d love the opportunity to help people chase down their dreams the same way I chased mine.

It’s been a fun ride. Excited for the next chapter… and to never step on a scale again.
