Traveling through Turkey today and was in Ephesus and a story about Paul came to mind while I was there. Paul spent a significant time in Ephesus preaching the Gospel, which threatened the business of silversmiths who made shrines of Artemis. Demetrius, a leading silversmith, was the cause of a riot by accusing Paul of disrespecting their goddess and harming their trade. The angry crowd dragged Paul’s companions into the theater, shouting praise to Artemis. But during this, Paul was trying to fight through his friends to go to the crowd and preach to them. This story has been touching my heart lately and Paul wanting to share the gospel with these people even though they were calling for his death. I hope to have the passion and heart for the lord like Paul to even when the world is against me I still run to the people that need God the most.

God has been so good to me through this first semester and gave me some of the most incredible friendships i could have ever asked for.

Luke 15:24 for this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry. God helped me find myself and is putting me on the path to one day grow into the man he made me to be. by @caleb_ridings9
