All the flash from this weekend’s Halloween Scavenger hunt!
Thank you to everyone who came out to hunt in a new city! I am so thrilled that this event was able to happen. As you know if you’ve followed me for a while, the scavenger hunts are the highlights of my year. I’m already thinking about how to make next year’s Halloween hunt a wonderful and weird experience, so tell your friends! The more the merrier.

Okay, I may have gotten a little carried away this year for the Halloween Scavenger Hunt flash sheet…
But here it is! This weekend I will be doing mostly the small and mid sized pieces on here (all between $150-$500) but I might have time for one or two undead soldiers!
The helmets and gauntlets can be done with or without the gore included.
Swipe to see my drawing setup, proof that no AI was used in the making of this sheet (just pens, books, and imagination).

I couldn’t have asked for a better first weekend at @bespoke.tattoo !!!
Surprised and honored to see some friendly faces all the way from Boston, and so happy to meet some new Mainers! Tell your friends in Maine I’m here :)
Everyone was so lovely to chat with. I can’t wait for next weekend (perhaps for some slightly spookier flash?)

Got my license to tattoo in Maine today!
While I waited for my documents to go through I’ve been spending a lot of time in the tide pools and coastal waters of this place I now live.
So I figured it’d only make sense to ink up a flash page of tidal critters.
I have some time this Sunday (10/25) at @bespoke.tattoo to sling this flash. Is it time to get that crab tattoo you’ve always wanted?
DM me if you’re interested and we’ll find a time!
First come first served.
$150-$500 depending on the piece.

Daniel’s first tattoo!
“I would like to have seen that eagle from the air a few weeks or months before he was shot: was the whole weasel still attached to his feathered throat, a fur pendant? Or did the eagle eat what he could reach, gutting the living weasel with his talons before his breast, bending his beak, cleaning the beautiful airborne bones?…I think it would be well, and proper, and obedient, and pure, to grasp your one necessity and not let it go, to dangle from it limp wherever it takes you. Then even death, where you’re going no matter how you live, cannot you part. Seize it and let it seize you up aloft even, till your eyes burn out and drop; let your musky flesh fall off in shreds, and let your very bones unhinge and scatter, loosened over fields, over fields and woods, lightly, thoughtless, from any height at all, from as high as eagles.”

A fancy bunny, a medieval beastie, and the three sisters crops. Thanks Christine and Ben for coming up! This is the final post from the summer season. Thanks to everyone who came out to the woods to get tattooed! It was a very successful, if a little chaotic, first summer. I’ll be sending messages out to the advanced booking list for next Summer soon!

After a whirlwind end to the summer things are settling into place, I am so excited to announce that I’ll be joining Taylor and his team at Bespoke Tattoo in Brunswick, Maine! It’s such a beautiful shop in a beautiful building, and Taylor has already been so welcoming, I can’t wait to tattoo here.
For all my Boston area friends, don’t worry! I’ll still be at Lucky’s part of the week. And of course, I will be in Vermont during the summer at Middle Son.
It will still be a few weeks before I start taking clients in Maine, so keep an eye out for an announcement on that front.

Thanks @genevievecohn for the photos! And for getting the job at Bowdoin that brought us to Maine :)
I don’t post photos of myself on here often, so thank you Sam for the lovely shirt to take them in. It’s great having such talented friends! Check out his work at @_slow_process_

A fly and reel for Peter, a spider spinning a web in freehand flowers for Edward and olives for Peter (yes two Peters). They came up for a weekend on the property with their friend Johnathan. The four of them piled into the cabin, played in the woods, took trips into town and generally made the most of their time at Middle Son. It was so great having them and I’m so happy with how their tattoos turned out!

Swipe to the end to see a peek behind the curtain of how this freehand this freehand piece was made for Yvonne over the course of a weekend at Middle Son! We made a transfer for the rose blossoms, and freehanded the grapes using ones we found growing on the bridge for reference.

This group of four gents came up for a friends weekend of tattooing. I think they very much understood the assignment of Middle Son. They played in the woods, joined us for a bonfire, and explored the surrounding towns. And after all that @pecanzvideo sent me this video he made! I’m stunned by how lovely it is. I’ll post all their tattoos soon, but wanted to put this out into the world.

For his first tattoo Ryan wanted to start a full sleeve. Here’s the beginning of it! All freehand, done over the course of a great weekend on the property. Ryan is a technical diver and had so many amazing photos and videos he took on his adventures.
