Yesterday was big y’all! It was such a surreal experience to meet Roger and James Deakins at this small book signing for his photography book, Byways.🤯

Had the privilege of DPing the @johnny.harris episode of @youshaei ‘s podcast “Created” along with a breakdown of Johnny’s infamous McDonald’s conspiracy YouTube video.

Shoutout to my crew as I couldn’t have done this without y’all!🫶🏻

Had the privilege of DPing not one, but two commercials during this project, and I’m beyond grateful for this incredible crew. It was one of those projects where the crew changed each day, but no matter who was on set, everyone brought their A-game. From setup to wrap, we were all in it together, bringing two completely different visions to life.

Big thanks to everyone who jumped in, whether for a day or the whole run. You all crushed it and made this project super rad. 🫶🏻

Feeling thankful, inspired, and ready for whatever’s next!

Had a blast collaborating with my gaffer, @andrewalfonsi, on this one. Midway through the day, I pitched the idea of playing around with a little color for these classroom interviews. We were ahead of schedule, and since Drew and I had loosely discussed it during prep, we hit the ground running. After a little experimenting, the agency gave us the green light—and I’m so glad they did!

locked in and locked off on my @sachtlersystems Flowtech tripod for the @johnny.harris episode of @youshaei ‘s podcast “Created”

As I continue to progress in my journey as a DP, I’ve grown to prioritize purchasing tools that not only make me more efficient, but are also a lot easier on my body for the long term.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again for real, being a taller guy, this tripod has taken so much stress off my back due to the way its design allows you to adjust the height at the top of the legs rather than having to reach down to the middle or even lower. This feature alone has made it worth every penny!🤙🏼
