I’ve been working out for 10 years and here’s what I’ve found,

1.) You can go in the gym, do the exact same movements with no intentionality, and make zero progress over 8 months.
2.) Your results are a direct reflection of your effort.
3.) No one “accidentally” got into shape. It was planned, thought out, committed too, and executed.
4.) No one in the gym who is in shape judges you for not knowing what you’re doing in the gym.
5.) It’s not complex, but it is difficult.

These exact same themes have been in me starting real estate, Jiu Jitsu, my faith walk, and I have a feeling it holds true for all areas in life.

As scary as Real Estate may seem on the outside.

I’ve slowly realized that it has NOTHING to do with in depth knowledge of the actual mechanics of a transaction.

It has EVERYTHING to do with relationships, integrity, and trust.

So if you’re a Mark Zuckerberg personality type, you better learn to how become VISIBLE, and not worry too much about how to handle a specific transaction.
(If you are very number/spreadsheet oriented then go into a very technical side of real estate like syndication or very large multifamily)

….honestly even then you have to talk to people and maintain relationships haha.

Don’t get me wrong, you do need to understand creative finance, how to get a house from contract 📝—->Close 🤝, and the basics of a transaction.

After that, there is diminishing returns hyper focusing on learning every possible form of creative finance in lieu of just going out and shaking hands and calling people.

Just my thoughts as to why I struggled for literal years

It was a marketing problem, not a information problem,
