Words can’t distinguish the hurt and gap I feel in my heart. Trent was my oldest brother. He was my rock and my protector. He was the first person I’d run to after getting off the bus.

I remember he would call me and talk to me about how I was doing in school and how I was feeling about life. I would always give him crap for liking the Cowboys, but he wouldn’t mind.

I just remember how many times he laid out his nose for me or would defend me, or how he would take me on fun trips or adventures.

I’m thankful for our drives. Our time as brothers. I know I didn’t always show it or talk to him about it, but I wish I could have taken him to a Cowboys game. I wish I could have seen his face watching his favorite team.

Trent was more than just that, but he was a great brother. A great gamer. And don’t let anyone get the idea of him not being fast — he was a great athlete too. He always loved to make things a competition. taken in San Antonio, Texas by @calebmatthewduh
