Hey y’all! 👋

For the last 12 weeks, I’ve been working on something behind the scenes that I’m finally excited to share…

I’m officially a licensed REALTOR® in the state of Ohio with eXp Realty🏡🎉

Ever since high school, I’ve been intrigued by the real estate business. Then, a couple of years ago, I got to watch Kayla step into the industry and see firsthand what the business—and more importantly, the people—looked like behind the scenes.

That curiosity eventually turned into action. About three months ago, I started my coursework, embarked on the journey, and today, I’m officially licensed!

We live in a world where relationships can sometimes feel transactional. My hope is to bring something different to the real estate space: genuine relationships, genuine care, and genuine service.

Yes, I want to help people buy and sell homes. But I want to value the person more than the transaction.

Today, Kayla and I had a flight home from SEA to Ohio. For some reason, I felt more anxious about this flight than I have on any other flight.

So I did what I knew to do—I prayed. I prayed for protection. I prayed for safe travels.

When we arrived at the airport, we were ready to get home. Our scheduled 7 PM arrival quickly turned into a 12-hour delay and a 7 AM arrival.

We were frustrated, fatigued, and fed up.

I started sitting in my feelings—angry at the airline, irritated with the people around me, and just ready to be home.

Then God checked me, as He often does.

I felt Him whisper:

“How do you know this isn’t part of the answer to the prayer you prayed?”

“How do you know this delay wasn’t actually part of my protection?”

Here’s the truth: I’ll never know for certain if that delay was God’s hand of protection over Kayla and me.

But I wouldn’t be surprised if it was.

Because sometimes…

God’s answer doesn’t come through our preferred route.

The delay may be part of the deliverance.
The interruption may be part of the intervention.
The postponement may be part of the protection.

We tend to assume that if God answers our prayer, He’ll answer it according to our preference.

But what if God is working in ways we can’t see simply because we’re too focused on the way we wanted Him to work?

Maybe the problem isn’t that God hasn’t answered.
Maybe our preference has blinded us to the answer.

So if you’re waiting on God to answer a prayer, don’t just ask, “When will He answer?”

Ask:

“What if He already has—and I just don’t recognize it because it didn’t come the way I wanted?”

FRENZY AT THE FAIR 2026 🔥

Why not us? Why not here?

God will not be stopped from doing what He wants to do in the next generation of Vinton County.

One year ago, God gave me the vision for this event. This week, He proved Himself faithful by fulfilling the promise He placed on my heart—young people coming to the altar. Twenty-five young people responded to the call of salvation and came to the altar to give their lives to Jesus.

A huge thank you to the Fair Board for allowing us the opportunity to host this event.

To my SUPERSTAR team at @northyth_—you absolutely crushed every single aspect of the night. None of this would have been possible without your servant hearts, hard work, and passion for seeing students encounter Jesus.

And thank you to @chris_wallis_ and @nickie.wallis for believing in this vision from the very beginning and cheering us on every step of the way.

I’m incredibly humbled and honored that God would choose to use me in this work. To Him alone be all the glory.
