POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Sometimes you have to stop, look around, and really take in what you’ve built.

Elite has been part of my life since 2010. We’ve had great teams, great fighters, unforgettable moments and plenty of success over the years — but there is something different about this group.

Right now, we have champions winning titles in different cities, on different promotions, at different weights and different levels. Some of these athletes are homegrown and have been with Elite from day one. Others came to us from great gyms and different backgrounds.

Different journeys. Different stories. One team.

And I can honestly say this is one of the best teams I’ve ever had the privilege of coaching.

I’m proud of the championships and the belts, but I’m even more proud of what people don’t always see — the hours in the gym, the sacrifices, the hard rounds, the coaches giving everything they have, teammates pushing each other, and the people behind the scenes who make all of this possible.

To every fighter, coach, student, family member and supporter who has been part of this journey: thank you. This success belongs to all of you.

And especially to my wife, who has stood beside me through every high, every low and every crazy idea along the way. And to my dad, who literally helped me build all three of our gyms with his own hands — I will never forget what you have done for me and for Elite.

When I look around today, I don’t just see champions.

I see years of work.
I see loyalty.
I see sacrifice.
I see family.
I see something we built together.

Belts will eventually change hands. Titles will come and go.

But what we are building together will last much longer than any championship.

Proud doesn’t even begin to describe it.

This is Elite. 🥊❤️

Big day at Elite Martial Arts Calgary! 🥊🔥

Yellow belt testing for the kids today! Proud of all these young athletes for the hard work, discipline, courage, and dedication they’ve been putting into their Muay Thai training.

It’s awesome watching them continue to learn, improve, and build confidence every time they step on the mats.

Good luck to everyone testing today, go show them what you’ve got! 💪🥊

👉👉 POST FIGHT INTERVIEW with @warpathfc.ca main event winner and NEW @muaythaicanada national champion 👑 @ad.k117 👑 from @calgaryelite

1 - it was LOUD in there and the audio was a touch glitchy. I know I'm yelling, but I took out the background sound. My apologies 😂

2. I could tell sitting beside Adel what this win meant to him, from quality of opposition to not letting a title shot slip away again. I was honoured to be part of that little moment.

THESE FIGHTERS WERE IN THE RING 30 SECONDS BEFORE THESE INTERVIEWS! so you are hearing from people who just went to battle seconds ago, still tired and full of adrenaline, and still overwhelmed with the high of having their hand raised and gums a flappin'!

I know i talk to fighters center ring often, right after a fight - but it's different when they sit in a booth and you can really get into it - talk to the coaches and let them actually try to articulate how they feel about their fights.

I'm full of emotions from the fights, they're full of everything I just mentioned with the win - it really made these interviews fun for me personally!

SHOUT OUT to Warpath and @mukai_maromo for having me be part of our local Muay Thai scene and be part of a GREAT night of fights!🔥 🔥
