POSTS STORIES REELS

6 months ago I told you I was going to do it…and 6 months later…I DID IT! I am officially a Master Trainer for @pilatessportscenter and @remedypb
•
My two passions in life are teaching Pilates… And teaching others how to teach Pilates. I am now certified and recognized to do both.
•
This is beyond a dream come true, and I certainly did not do this by myself. A handful of you have played a very significant role in who I have become and in getting me to this very moment in my life. You know who you are and with my entire heart…thank you🤍
•
This is something that I told myself I was going to do a few years ago, and it brings me to tears of joy to hold this piece of paper in my hand.
•
So, who’s ready for our next teacher training with @kellypilates.remedypb and I? 😜

•
@lwashingtontv thank you SO much for this experience and bringing some light onto what some @nfl and @azcardinals are doing during their off-season!
•
Massive thank you to @garrett.williams3 and @seanmurphybunting for supporting me with this and always putting up with my shenanigans 🤍🤍

Tactile Cueing: physical touch, pressure, or object contacts used to guide, communicate with, or stimulate the body and brain
•
This is by far the type of cueing that works best for me and my teaching style when it comes to my clients. I can say one thing, while helping something feel what I’m saying.
•
Notice it’s not just one and done, it’s constant cueing, touching, reminding, figuring out etc.

$Off-Season is officially over 🫡 • What you see on the field is just a fraction of the time spent perfecting their craft. • To the new clients I got to work with this off-season, thank you for trusting me with your Pilates journey. To the clients who came back for their second, third… Or seventh season with me; Thank You for making me a staple part of your training team. • And to the ones who have been thinking of working with me but haven’t yet…I’ll see you next off-season • by @calibratepilates$

Almost 11 years in and I still mess up…
•
Moral of the story…
•
WHO CARES!…as long as your client isn’t hurt or compromised, just move on. No need to dwell on what you did (or didn’t) say. When you can let go of the expectation you put on yourself, you’ll find your teaching style… With an occasional glitch here and there😜 by @calibratepilates

SERIOUS QUESTION…
•
When was the last time you taught the Rollover in your mat class?
•
If never…why?
•
If you’re a mat Pilates teacher and don’t know this exercise…why?
•
Talk it out in the comments. Love to hear from you!
