Chapter 31.

More gratitude. Less noise.

I’ve learned that not every loss is a loss, not every win needs an audience, and not everyone deserves a front-row seat to your life.

Still building. Still evolving. Still betting on myself.

Here’s to another chapter. by @calibreddevo

D – Dedicated
A – Admired
D – Dependable

Fatherhood isn’t about being perfect, it’s about showing up every day.
From early mornings to late nights, from soccer fields to baseball ball games, from homework to life lessons, being your dad is my greatest accomplishment.
Everything I do, I do with you two in mind. Thank you for giving me purpose, perspective, and a love I never knew was possible.
Happy Father’s Day to all the dads, my homies and my family out there doing their best. And to my kids!! Thank you for making me the man I am today. ❤️

Today is an especially hard day for my family and I!
It is what would have been my brothers 34th Birthday which is even crazy to think because he was 19 when he passed. Song chose is because Take Care was the last album you were listening to before you passed! We banged Over My Dead Body on the whole way to drop me off at school before you set off for your day not to return home. This album is forever locked with me!

But brother, I’m doing good from down here and holding shit down! You are missed so dearly by so many that continue to keep your spirits alive! I wish a Happiest of Heavenly Birthdays 🎉 love you and miss you! taken in Quartz Hill, California by @calibreddevo

From California sunsets to German mornings… same mindset, different timezones. The view changed, the mission didn’t.
All business with a little fun!

14 years!
My brother, not a day goes by I don’t think about you! You inspire me all these years later! I’ll never stop looking up to you thriving to be half the person you were! Thinking about you takes me back to being that 14 year old boy as a freshman in high school following your every step, wanting to be just like his big bro. You were my everything.

Today is especially hard because I’ve never not been to your gravesite on this day and never away from my kids this long! Feeling lonely but I know you got me and are looking down on me! #KB4THEONE #LLKB #KB4Ever #4Era continues by @calibreddevo

Baby girl, the one who made me a Dad!
I truly don’t think anything could’ve prepared me for this moment here.
Ten years old already… and you still amaze me every single day. I am beyond proud to call you my daughter.
You shaped me into the man and father I am today, during a period when I needed it most.
I am forever grateful for you, and I’ll always be proud to be your dad. 🩷

Happy Birthday, Elaina Brooks!
