calico? calico whenever? whatever, ANYWAYS. we are mad excited to announce our new band name ✨calico moon✨

as some of you know, our original band name, calico, was not unique enough for some streaming services (booooo 🍏), so we made a quick pivot and used our previous instagram handle as our new name. unsurprisingly, this didn’t stick - calico whenever, whatever, wherever, whoever - there were just too many damn options!!!

anyway, after a couple glasses of wine and saying every word combination we could possibly imagine, calico moon was born.

we hope you love it as much as we do…and stay tuned for some more exciting updates soon 🌝

📸 @jakeschein

p.s. if you still see our old name floating around out there, we’re working on it!!! taken in San Francisco, California by @calicomoonband

Premiering at @bigbad_filmfest on 08/21/26
@thefisticuffscollective presents:
“Mind, Body & Soul,” an action short film that packs a wallop! We packed American style action in there. We packed Hong Kong style action in there. We packed hyper-stylized anime-inspired action in there. If you are a fan of the genre, you won’t wanna miss it!
