Tina Turner - I’ve never seen a single song more sure of fire to get a crowd going. Been ending my Motown shows with Proud Mary (Rollin’), for years! What a champion. This video demonstrates THAT tempo change in this iconic tune. W Fabulous guitar Maestro @banerjee.robin (Amy Winehouse), Professionally shot by the @sainthilluk crew at the @jiveaces charity concert ♥️ Enjoy!

This was an exceptionally lovely wedding. My beautiful friend Noa married her wonderful Tom and it was a sensational DIY authentic event made for them, the families and pure hearted friends, not just for Instagram! Out on a barn/farm with loads of dancing, food, kind moving words, pure joy, live music, Hora (!) & celebration. Us jewish people really know how to party ! Nothing like a wedding full of the right kind of actual content. Was also a pleasure singing for u, thank u for having me ❤️🎶💍👰🏻‍♀️🤵🏼‍♂️

Incredibly surreal to me that Amy Winehouse’s Back To Black album was released in October 2006, 20 years ago exactly (!!!).
It’s surreal because I remember the very first time I saw her Rehab video, heard her incredible Soul retro sound and just got how genuine the music and her voice was, it was unmistakable.

Since then lots of artists have been compared to her, some genuinely try to imitate her.

But I think the best thing about a true artist with an actual statement and identity, is when they inspire you to find your own uniqueness and keep the fire of music alive.

I’ve tried my best to honor her in a musical way that reinvents it in free-flowing live jazz arrangements, different every single time, pure jazz tradition.
I’d like to think she may have enjoyed it.

My mate Robin, Amy‘s original guitarist, is joining Mark Ronson this October at the Roundhouse for a special anniversary show, delighted they’re putting this together as Amy deserves to be honored.

Now, we will be celebrating Amy’s music in our own acoustic intimate setting with our 4 piece band, Robin, myself, our fab trombonist Tarik, and our pianist.

November 7 and 8 - double shows at Toulouse Lautrec London
All details in my bio, go get it! X

This friend. Is the BEST friend !!! Get u a person like this in your life and you’ll want for nothing.
Maya is making a big UK comeback in just a few hours and I’m SO excited I realized I never posted all of our previous shenanigans. Like that time she did my stage makeup and was my “lady in the waiting” assistant throughout my theater show, made me breakfast, gave me makeup lessons & a TON of cool sh*t, was a phenomenal movie partner, the absolute best at chitchatting & listening to anything I had to say w such genuine interest & care, and generally makes every single activity better & life a lot more fun!

Thank u for all that u are and all that u do for me. Simply outstanding 🙌🏻 I love u ❤️❤️❤️ @maya_tov

Amy Winehouse would have been 43 today. Unreal!!
Dare I say, I suspect the only thing she truly gave a shit about was her music, so we honor her immense talent by keeping it alive 🙌🏻
I’m not just saying that, I’ve grown very attached to it, especially when delivering our own arrangements to a loving audience, as I know that’s a thing she appreciated. She used to do it herself, often. Jazz and Soul are very much like that: Hear a song you dig - make your own unique version (next up- our acoustic London residency shows @toulouse.london Nov 7 & 8, link in bio).
So here are some videos from our theater show this summer doing just that. It was a grand production!

Thank u to my phenomenal band, my epic friends backstage & @java_and_jazz the promoters 🙌🏻❤️🎶
