Next up, from the Class of 2026, we would like to recognize Caliza O’Bryan!

Caliza started at The Villages Charter Schools in Pre-K 3! During her time as a Golden Girl she has earned three International Cheer Union World Performance Cheer High Kick titles (2024, 2025, and 2026) and 2nd in the ICU Nation’s Cup to Japan in 2025. She is also a 2023 UDA JV High Kick National Champion and helped the team make it back to Pom Finals at UDA Nationals in 2026! In addition, Caliza is a member of the NHSDA (National Honor Society for Dance Arts) where she graduated with dance honors!

Caliza was also involved in athletics while at VHS! She was a member of the Varsity Track team all four years. She also participated in weightlifting for one year and played Varsity Flag Football for two years, earning a national ranking in the sport.

In addition to athletics and Golden Girls, Caliza was involved in the following:
⭐️ Red Cross
⭐️ National Science Honor Society
⭐️ HOSA-Future Health Professionals
⭐️ National Honor Society

Her hard work and dedication earned her four scholarships. Three were awarded through the Buffalo Scholarship Foundation: the Buffalo Promise Scholarship, the VHS Buffalo Booster Athletic Scholarship, and the Buffalo Scholarship Foundation Scholarship. She also received the Sophisticated Gents of Florida Scholarship. In addition, she was awarded the Florida Fine Arts Seal for her involvement in dance!

After graduation, Caliza plans to attend Lake-Sumter State College during the summer to complete her Associate’s degree before transferring to College of Central Florida where she will pursue a degree in Dental Hygiene. Her goal is to become a pediatric dental hygienist. We are so incredibly proud of you @calizasobryan ! We will miss you but know you will continue to do amazing things in your future! We wish you all the best in your next chapter! 💚💛 #foreversuda by @calizasobryan
