Vi har gått i mål med The Hour at the Bottom!

Under tre år har vi levt i den här skapandeprocessen som en del av TestArt, ett arbete som tagit oss till Italien, Tyskland och tillbaka hem till Göteborg igen, men också in i nya samarbeten som satt igång kreativa virvlar i vårt inre.

Det har varit en process fylld av ärlighet, lyssnande och ömhet. Och framför allt: ett arbete som burits av fantastiska medskapare som trots distansen för alltid kommer vara oss nära. @call_angelo @antinorisonia @frkbordin

Tack till alla som varit en del av resan. Publik, samarbetspartners och medskapare.

Nu lämnar vi The Hour at the Bottom bakom oss — åtminstone för tillfället.

Föreställningen var en samproduktion mellan Teater Nu, Zentralwerk och Malte, och har kommit till som en del av EU-projektet TestArt.

Eine spielerische Show über etwas so Ernstes wie die conditio humana und darüber, wie man all dem einen Sinn geben kann. Die Tatsache, dass unser Leben endlich ist, dass es in Jahren, Tagen, Minuten und Sekunden gemessen wird, ist eine schwere Last. In dem Universum, in das wir eintreten, werden zwei Personen in eine komprimierte Version des Lebens geworfen, ohne Regeln oder offensichtlichen Sinn. Sie haben eine Zeitleiste: In 70 Minuten ist ihre Zeit abgelaufen und sie werden nicht mehr existieren. Um mit dieser Tatsache fertig zu werden, erfinden sie Aufgaben, um zu verstehen, was es bedeutet, ein sinnvolles Leben zu führen, mit der Zeit, die man hat, und den Handlungen, die man unternimmt, zufrieden zu sein. Wie gelangt man an einen Ort, an dem man sagen kann: Das ist es, und es ist genug? „The Hour at the Bottom“ wurde gemeinsam von Sonia Antinori (Italien) und Matilda Klamas (Schweden) geschrieben. Es ist eine künstlerische Zusammenarbeit, die den unausweichlichen Lauf der Zeit, das Ringen darum, etwas zu bewirken, und den Mut, ohne mit der Wimper zu zucken in die Leere zu blicken, erforscht.
Auf der Bühne wird der Text von den Schauspielern Matilda Bördin (Schweden) und Andrea Callegarin (Italien) zum Leben erweckt, die die philosophischen Fragen nach dem menschlichen Dasein ins Hier und Jetzt rücken.
Sprache: Englisch mit deutschen Untertiteln
Die Aufführung ist eine internationale Koproduktion, produziert von den Kulturorganisationen MALTE (Italien), Teater Nu (Schweden) und Zentralwerk e.V. (Deutschland) im Rahmen des Projekts TESTART (Testing new skills for the circulation of innovative co-creation methods in the performing Arts sector), kofinanziert von Creative Europe und koordiniert vom Consorzio Marche Spettacolo (Italien).

Föreställningen har kommit till som en del av det europeiska samarbetsprojektet @testart_eu med stöd av Kreativa Europa och @kulturradet.se

Quanti spettacoli nel 2025!

Da Milano a Elsinore, da Copenhagen a Varazdin, da Treviso a Padova, l’anno scorso è stato pieno di progetti fantastici, di entusiasmo e amore creativo.

È stato anche un anno pieno di prime volte: la mia prima tournée internazionale con MAP - Manual of Adaptation to the Planet, che quest’estate ci ha fatto viaggiare in tutta Europa. E il mio primo progetto originale ad andare in residenza, AI<3P0RN, in residenza a Padova in primavera e a Cagliari in autunno.

C’è molto altro in serbo nel 2026, ma intanto ecco un po’ di memorie.

“Manual for Adaptation to the Planet” is an innovative fusion of art and science that explores how temporary changes in the rules within public spaces can prompt reflection on the future and climate challenges. The project is the result of years of research and collaboration with people from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, offering a new perspective on how art can impact the local community. This special performance lies between the ideas of hybrid theatre and science. What the audience can experience is a unique opportunity for interaction and dialogue.
