Atlanta, @atlantafilmseries - thank you for being such a wonderful and receptive audience to HVAC. Finding homes for films like this one can be complicated, and to have such a big audience get it and embrace it- oooh I wish we had recorded the audience reactions so we could watch it over and over to remember why we do this. I was teary-eyed. Thank you. @hvacshortfilm by @callahadam

We had the best time last Friday at the @hqsffestival - wonderful audience, wonderful team. We're so honored to have won 4 awards, especially the Audience Award. I love that HVAC has won best comedy here, as well as best horror at other fests. Thanks to all involved, truly. 🥹 by @callahadam

In addition to being at @outsouthqueerfilmfest this weekend, we will also be having our International Premiere at the Bengaluru International Short Film Festival @bisffblr in Bangalore, India. We are so honored to be a selection at this Oscar Qualifying (were we to win, we'd be able to launch an oscar nom campaign) festival. The bounty has been good and we're just thrilled that so many people are able to see HVAC worldwide. taken in Bangalore, India by @callahadam

🎬 Narrative Short Film Highlight - HVAC

Beneath a working-class Missouri stage, a teenage boy stumbles into a dark, seductive threshold between awakening desire and haunting danger. Raw, moody, and deeply atmospheric, this coming-of-age mystery weaves delicate tension through the shadows of small-town innocence. An unsettlingly beautiful cinematic gem crafted for lovers of bold, sensory storytelling.

Didn't set out to make a horror movie, just a movie about the horror of being a person. We did set out to make a very queer movie with very queer people- over 90% of the cast and crew identify as such.
So! we are honored to have been awarded the Best LGBTQ+ Short this past weekend at the @horrorhotelfilmfest in Cleveland. Let's keep going! Happy Pride Month! by @callahadam
