When I decided to become an acupuncturist, my dream was always to offer care at the intersection of sound and body/mind support - intertwining my world as a musician and sound artist with my desire to provide physical and emotional ease for loved ones in sensitive bodies. My intent for creating music has always been to provide healing support and a safe space for people to process the often hard and abject experience of living in a body at this time in the world. ‘Pattern Diagnosis’ is a joining of my two worlds, melting them into one and offering a sonic companion for healing, mutual care work, repair, grieving, celebrating, connecting, thinking, and loving. one of the most special parts about this work is feeling the shift of energy in a patient post treatment - suddenly stagnation softens and it’s reflected in their eyes, the way they carry themselves, and in the relieved tone of their voice. So thankful to engage in this care work. Reach out if you need some support and are looking to feel more bodily and spiritual ease -`♡´-

Finding a moment to tend to self, work on my radio show, dream into care work, build @rosebellyhealing and notice special details as I process the transformative feelings of this time of life. Grateful to my loved ones for making this slow, solo time possible.

Hi sweet friends! This week at clinic I was able to be with my patients as we navigated alongside one another the constant ebb and flow of living in a body during this time in the world. I watched how my patients tend to dysregulation by both giving and receiving support and it inspires me constantly. There is a moment after a treatment where I walk into the room to remove needles and the air feels different - it feels lighter, softer, cooler and slower - I look at my patients’ faces and sometimes there might even be a small smile or at least an unfurruwing of the brows, a subtle ease to their expression, or a necessary tear drop that feels good to release. This is the beauty and gift of this collaborative work. So grateful to tend to my patients and nurture these relationships of care.

Lately life has been full of wonder, newness, challenge, exploration, sweets & sweetness, tenderness, late night/early morning feeds, loved ones, sounds, music, contact naps, care work, wooden toys, trinkets, orcas, questioning, and lots and lots of growth.

The last few weeks of clinic I have noticed a pattern that so many of my patients are experiencing - increased agitation both physically and emotionally being greatly exacerbated by the heat, smoke, wildfires/industrial fires, and the incredibly scary political landscape of this time. It feels so important to honor that we are very much so interconnected with our surroundings and undoubtedly affected at different levels by our ecosystems and those who dwell within them. I’ve been thinking so much about how each of us can feel more clarity on how to utilize our unique skills and gifts to show up and act towards a world where all beings are safe and cared for. I’ve found time and time again that when we can feel cared for ourselves we can better care for others and feel clarity on our roles in this moment. This is part of the work I do in collaboration with my patients and I am so grateful for this. If you think you are in need of some care please reach out - sliding scale spots available ❤️

I love taking care of bodies nourishing life in all its many stages. The experience of growing & carrying a body in your own is different for everyone. It can be tender, challenging, special, magical, and unknown, pushing you towards and through portals of transformation you never knew you would/couod walk through. These bodies and hearts need care before, during, and after the actual birthing experience ❤️

By nourishing the blood and qi and supporting the healthy balance of both yin and yang substances in the body, as well as providing tangible supplement and food medicine recommendations (when appropriate), I work with these patients to replenish their reserves so their bodies, and their baby’s bodies and spirits can feel supported, acknowledged and cared for. Acupuncture also greatly assists with symptoms such as nausea, acid reflux, swelling, and mental health fluctuations that might arise ❤️
