It's the thought behind a design. The choice of materials, the care in every detail, the belief that the way something is made, and the person it is made for, matter. There is a more complete expression of the work I do and of the direction my business has grown in. And there is also so much of myself in this business, and I’m incredibly grateful to share this journey with you. Kind words that remind me why I love designing wedding stationery so much. It's easy to think of stationery as something you send or something you place on a table. But for me, it's about telling a story and reflecting the couple's personal style and traditions. It's the place card someone takes home. The menu that completes the table. The handwritten details that make everyone feel personally welcomed. For this wedding, I created a ceremony booklet that shared the history of Powerscourt Estate alongside the story behind the Sofreh table (a millenary Persian tradition) and the meaning of each element within it. For guests to take a moment to discover something new and connect with a tradition that was new to many of them was incredibly special. Reading this special review from the bride means so much. Thank you, Kathleen and Bijan, for trusting me to tell a small part of your story. It was such a pleasure to be a small part of it, and to the amazing Maria and Orlaith, thank you for recommending me to your couples time and time again. It never goes unnoticed. ✨️ Wedding Photographer @annagphotography_ Wedding Design & Planning @theeventdesigncompany Venue @powerscourthotel @powerscourt_estate Catering @feastcatering_ireland Wedding Content Creator @thewedding_fairy_ + 2nd shooter @yourdaybydavid Floral Designs @thefrenchtouchflowers Makeup Artist @makeupbymandijay Hair Stylist @royleigh_ Day of Stationery and Signage by me! 🤍 by @calligraphybylaura

From a bespoke stationery suite to a personalised piece in the middle of a live brand event, my work has always taken me into different worlds. I’ve had the pleasure of working with couples and wedding planners, bringing their wedding stationery vision to life, and with brands creating meaningful experiences for their clients, from luxury in-store personalisation to live events where the experience is just as important as the finished piece. The work itself can look very different. A thoughtfully designed invitation, a beautifully finished signage, an engraved item, or a name personalised in-store. Each calls for its own approach, but the details matter just as much. That’s what I love about what I do. The mix of digital design and craftsmanship, the variety of projects, and the opportunity to create something that feels unique for the person, the brand or the occasion. Calligraphy by Laura & Co. brings all of this together. Bespoke stationery, calligraphy, engraving and live personalisation for weddings, brands and experiences. I want you to see the full scope of my work, while staying true to what has always mattered to me: considered design, high quality materials and care in the execution. There’s more to share about "The Art of Making a Mark". I look forward to bringing you along. 🤍 Laura by @calligraphybylaura
