With the New Year right around the corner, this is your time for reflection. Was this year everything you wanted it to be?

✨Not everyone is meant to see your vision, only the end result.

✨You have dreams to chase, goals to accomplish, and roads to walk to get there.

✨Don’t give up. Keep going.

✨Write your dreams in permanent marker and your roadmap to get there in pencil.

✨Your destiny is determined by what you do with your detours.

✨It’s ok to chase your next goal/dream, just as long as you find gratitude for the things you have now.

✨Your dreams start the day you decide you want them.

Being picky while dating does not mean better than, but rather, getting better at picking.

Before we can be selective, we must first figure out what we need and want. How do you know what you are looking for if you don’t know what you need or want. Once you figure those out, then you create your standards. Standards also help you spot red and green flags friends. Standards are designed because you can’t just be giving yourself away to everyone.

Remember that walls up and boundaries are two different things. Walls up lets no one in. Boundaries are making sure it’s safe to let them in before you invest spiritual, physically, and emotionally. This is important for my friends that wear their heart on their sleeve. If you get attached easily, place the boundaries of no friends with benefits for example.

Remember that those who want to be in your life, will meet your standards and never test your boundaries. This weeds out who is here for a long time or a fun/short time. If I picked you, it must mean I see something in you, you met my standards, and you respected my boundaries. Having standards and boundaries also shows your value and how you value yourself. It makes you appear rare. Not everyone has access to you because you are selective kings and queens. 👑👸🤴

Also! Do not answer the questions,”what are you looking for in a relationship or a partner” right away. It’s better to observe these things because if you do, you gave them the blueprint on what to do or how to appear and this may not be who they are or how they are in a relationship. Especially with those love bombers. We are weeding out, not water the weeds (🤭that made me laugh. Sometimes I’m witty).

Lastly, like you are asking someone to meet your standards and not to test your boundaries, you should be firm in your decision to utilize this technique. Making exceptions for various reasons is a no go. Yeah he is cute…but will he be there tomorrow if you let him in for the night? Just a thought. 💭

The one where we PIVOT..

When something is not successful the first time, we have two options.

☝️ Give up and accept defeat
✌️ Take the L but replace Loss with Lesson behind that L.

Failure does not mean stop. It means adjust, refocus, and try again with the adjustments. Some of the biggest names in history had many failed attempts before succession. Examples include:

✨Steve Jobs
✨Michael Jordan
✨J.K.Rowling
✨Walt Disney

So play truth or dare with your failures.
I dare you to try again! Or… face the truth that your goals, dreams, and purpose ends with you.

Don’t make me double-dog-dare you to try again!! Because truthfully… you may be one failure away from succeeding…one No away from a Yes.

Always remember that it’s only a failure if you let it be.

✨Sometimes, God doesn’t give you the full vision all at once.

✝️I think that’s because He wants to collaborate and do it step by step with you. I also think this is for the purpose of not overwhelming you. Lastly, I think this is also in the test of faith. Having faith that if you complete this step, I’ll give you another one.

❤️One thing I know for sure…
I’ll never want to do life without Him.

🙏Funny thing is.. I’ve always know the future plans He has for me but not the steps to get there. Like … this is the finish line.. now ask me how to get there type of thing.

✅Getting my license may or may not have been part of my sole purpose in life but it was one of things He wanted me to do.

✨Ok God… so what’s next?
