I tore my rotator cuff and dislocated a handful of ribs as a baby dancer, and over time I adjusted accordingly. 💯 I recently started seeing a new physical therapist, and for the first time since my injury (over a decade), I am finally overcoming my fear and mental blocks around the injury. I am gaining physical and mental tools to bring me back into my body; tools I didn’t even know I needed or existed. Stay tuned for more on this journey! Will I be able to do pole tricks again one day??? 🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️🙏🏽🙏🏽💚💚 I hope so! Day One of posting all the backed up content I never released….. AND TO BE REAL, I’m entering a lil depression and listening to all of the music I’ve written has been helping me hold onto myself right now. My cat of 18 years passed, and I really have to remember who I am through this time. I got Jax the year after I finally left my family, and he saw me through the entire harsh process of becoming free from them. Now that I’m finally free, I guess his job was done.. He got me through all that, and he’ll be back as a new guide on this next chapter. Looking back at the videos I made, and reminiscing on the times I had with my familiar, I realize how much this animal really held it down for me… 🖤 So here’s to the human he helped me become, and the Goddess he always knew I was.
