Happy birthday to the lady in the pictures 😮‍💨
…
I’m truly grateful for this year.
21!
Somewhere I never thought I’d be,
As a woman I was fearful I’d never become.—
Today I’m glad I’ve gotten to meet this 21 year old version of myself and happy for anyone who has the opportunity to meet her too, who gets to know her, to sit with her…
I hope that they grow to love her the way that I finally do.
She’s been through a lot, more than she deserved.
I know a lot of us can relate to that.
But she’s still here, still standing and still changing.
I’m grateful every hurdle, every breakthrough and every person who has been there on her journey till now.
I can confidently say, it’s been incredibly hard on this walk with you K’yla. I’m proud to know you and I can’t wait to meet each and every single version of you as the years go on. Continue to let God into your heart; let him disrupt your thoughts and your plans, for his way is greater and this you know to be true. Continue to love and fight against fear for it does not belong to you. Remember with God you can never lose, keep your head up and your heart soft. No hardship is too great and in any battles lost the victory belongs to Jesus. Let your brokenness or defeat be a reminder only of His strength. God loves you girlie and so do I. taken in Antigua by @callme_k.la
