Stowe, Vermont 🍂 Days 3 & 4

We spent our last couple of days exploring the countryside around Stowe, driving past Christmas tree farms and stopping at as many covered bridges as we could find, with that postcard view of Stowe and its white church steeple along the way. We stopped by The Alchemist, which turned out to be one of the coolest breweries we’ve ever been to, and drove through Smugglers’ Notch with the leaves at their peak. An afternoon at the Von Trapp Family Lodge was one of our favorite moments: exploring the gardens, visiting the Highland cows, and hiking up to the little stone chapel in the woods. After one more round of cider donuts at Cold Hollow, Ryan planned our last night with dinner at Hen of the Wood in Waterbury, the perfect ending to our trip. 🧡❤️💛 taken in Stowe, Vermont by @callmekillaton

Stowe, Vermont 🍁 Days 1 & 2

Ryan and I enjoyed a getaway weekend, just the two of us, in Stowe, Vermont at the end of September. Our first stop after landing was Cold Hollow Cider Mill for hot cider and warm cider donuts, and we picked up a few bottles of local maple syrup to bring home. The next day we wandered Stowe Village, rode the gondola up Mount Mansfield for lunch at the Cliff House with a beautiful view of Stowe, did some beer tastings at the Von Trapp Bierhall and Idletyme, took a scenic drive, and ended the day with a cozy dinner at Doc Ponds. Fall in New England was absolutely beautiful. 🍂 taken in Stowe, Vermont by @callmekillaton
