the original earpads on my @skullcandy pride edition crusher evo suddenly started breaking down INSANELY rapidly last month or so, so i went looking for replacement earpads and found @wickedcushions on amazon. they're affordable, were stupid easy to put on, even for my hypermobile fingers, and are super comfy. nice and thicc 🤌 they have tons of colors and patterns and a bunch of different earpads compatible with other brands, but the only thing that would make mine better is if they were rainbow colored 🏳️‍🌈

Tipsy, my precious baby boy, crossed the rainbow bridge.

i was expecting the worst outcome at the vet today, since labored breathing and lethargy in a 25yo bird is never good, but i still wasn't prepared for it. is anyone ever prepared for it, even when you see it coming?

yesterday was the 2-year memorial of my lil man Matisse's death. i had him for 20yrs, from the time i was 16 until six days after my 36th birthday. my entire adult life. i'm not exaggerating when i say i lost a child. he was not "just a bird". he may not have been my flesh and blood but he was my son. i'm still not "over it". i was bedridden most of yesterday, actually...

20 is *incredibly* old for a cockatiel. my jenday conure Tipsy is 2yrs older than Matisse was, so he's 24 now. if i'm lucky, and he doesn't suffer some kind of tragic illness or injury, i'll have him for another 5–8 years, bc most aratinga conures live up to and into their 30s.

i miss you every second, baby boy, my lil spoonful of cinnamon dust 🌈

me and my brother got this card from @untamedego for the one calendar holiday our mom absolutely DESPISES (mother's day) and i had no idea what to draw on the side we didn't sign so i sat on it and thought about it all week. then last night i suggested to mom that she eat one of the true strain gummies from @binoidcbd that i cut up into quarters for her to see if it would help reduce her post-dental surgery pain so she could sleep better and she said "i'll take it tomorrow. remind me" and then i knew what to draw. just rawdogging a human hand freestyle with no references we die like men by @callmelittleowl

i couldn't do it y'all i don't have the strength to handle a full head of hair i can't do all the styling products and the washing the styling products out before bed i don't have the energy or the time for that shit. and besides. i look GOOD with an all-over fade, especially on days i have the strength and energy for a full face of makeup ✨😤✨

happy new year i guess. my headbands and new haircut are cute af tho (the last selfie is without portrait mode to show how glittery my headbands really are. also that's my christmas tree behind me, and illuminating me for the last two selfies). my gold and silver glitter stars headband is from NY2019. i bought the black, silver, holo-silver glitter stars and tulle ruffle headband yesterday after my haircut. i can barely keep my eyes open today and i don't have any local friends who're still single and childless, otherwise i might have done my hair and makeup and put on a nice outfit and gone to a NYE party in SLC lmao
