When I was asked if I wanted to illustrate the graphic novel adaptation of The Hiding Place, I said, “Of course!” I thought I would complete it in 6 months tops, hahah. I am humbled, gratefully. Over two years later, I am beside myself with great joy and gratitude that The Hiding Place graphic novel is finished at last, and coming out this April. Thank you to my family and friends! Thank you to my business partner and producer Mario, so glad we stuck it out! Thank you, Corrie ten Boom, for your amazing story of faith, courage, and the indispensability of forgiveness.

The Hiding Place remains deeply relevant today as a testament to resilience, faith, and the power of forgiveness in the face of oppression. Corrie ten Boom’s story reminds us of the dangers of hatred and injustice, while also showing how courage and compassion can shine even in the darkest times. In an era still plagued by conflict, persecution, and division, her message of love and hope continues to inspire people to stand up for what is right and extend grace to others.
