When I left my career as a classical cellist two years ago, the only way I knew how to make music was with an acoustic cello. 🎻I had never opened a DAW or used any music technology—but I’d spent years obsessing over electronic music and immersive productions. I knew I wanted to evolve the cello’s role beyond the traditional concert hall and into a contemporary, multidimensional environment. 💻🎚️🔊The journey here has been wild, humbling, and deeply transformative. Thrilled to be part of @mediaartx’s MAXmachina Cohort VII. 💫 This fall, I’ll be premiering a new immersive work called REGENESIS in collaboration with my dear friend and longtime creative partner, @kytersteffes. Building on Dark Star, the piece expands the original work into a larger immersive world—bringing together music, technology, narrative, and performance in a new way through a full-length live experience.
