Whenever people ask me, “Why calligraphy?”, I now finally have a video that I can point them to.

What started 20 years ago during a Kolkata summer vacation—quietly turned into a grounding anchor of my life.

Through balance sheets, long workdays, and now the beautiful chaos of motherhood, this art form became my pause button. Between managing family, career, and endless to-do lists, our brains rarely get a break. For some, peace is a morning run, dance, or a canvas.
For me, it’s the quiet rhythm of ink meeting paper. It’s not just ink and letters—it’s where my mind finally rests.

I’ll be the first to admit I’m terrible at consistently sharing my workshops and live events here, and this is actually the very first time I’m putting my own voice behind my work.

Callphabet wouldn’t exist without the people who gently pushed me to share it, back me up behind the scenes, and believe in this quiet obsession of mine. Thank you guys❤️you know who you are 😛
