2026 has been a year of getting back to class, and class where I needed work, not class where I am my strongest. It’s so powerful and so different training with a more mature mindset as opposed to when I was in my early twenties. A few years ago, I went to see a show in London that genuinely stayed with me. It blended dance, fashion, music, and queer culture in a way that felt bold, creative, and completely alive. I ended up seeing it twice in the same week because I couldn’t stop thinking about it afterwards. From then on, I knew I wanted to be part of it.I auditioned the first time around and made it to the finals, but it wasn’t my year. However a year after that a place became available in the cast.Now I’m here in Tokyo — getting to perform, travel, meet people from different cultures, adapt to new environments, and be part of something that inspired me long before I joined it. Grateful for the opportunity thanks to @headnodagency and excited to keep growing with the show and sharing it with audiences around the world.Life changes quickly sometimes, and every now and then, those changes take you exactly where you’re meant to be at the exact time that you need it without you needing to force it. by @callumsterling

I’m EXCITED to go to work everyday Getting paid to be the weirdo that I am. LETS GOOOOOO. Feeling very blessed and full of gratitude. Thank you to my agents @mass.talent for getting me in the room and for @amibenton_ and @emma_holty who I ended up auditioning with in a small group. We all ended up getting the job and I truly think it’s because we all had a laugh together. It paid off to have fun with you both and now we’re sat next to each other everyday at work doing little duets together. Major. ❤️ by @callumsterling

2022 was full of so many great career moments including getting to work on a big major film for the first time such as @barbie. I find my journey fascinating, and I’m really grateful to life for bringing another special experience into my life. I really should have researched the cast, as the first time I saw some of them was after the camera was already rolling and I’m pretty sure there was a scene where my mouth dropped open when I saw @americaferrera. And after watching Will Ferrel on my tv for so many years to find I was in scenes with him and experiencing his humour was really special, especially how he worked with the camera and his script ad-libbing 👌🏽. Straight after this I was able to then fly to Bulgaria to shoot a music video with @rinasonline thanks to @joshuabasspilmore … The journey never fails to suprise me 🫶🏽@the.diversityagency you’ve brought me so many amazing jobs since signing with you; thank you as always for this one 🫶🏽 by @callumsterling

The last time I did this gig was prepandemic and it felt great to be back but with an even stronger mentality. The first time I did this gig I was so nervous 😅. I love growth. Getting to work for @jeanpaulgaultier telling his life story with some of the most talented international talent last year … So so grateful. A show where I only had to show who I was and not try to fit into any particular box, because the show was made for my spirit. Couldn’t have asked for anything more.
