Some journeys are about reaching a destination.

This one was about everything in between.

The train rides.
The coastal trails.
The small harbours.
The evenings by the sea.

Those are the moments I think about first when I remember Cinque Terre.

It’s hard to imagine how much history can exist within a single place.

Every turn revealed something built, painted or carved hundreds of years ago.

These are a few moments that stayed with me.

I went to the Dolomites expecting dramatic mountains.

What I didn’t expect was everything beneath them.

Quiet villages.
Small cafés.
Boats waiting by the lake.
Roads that make you slow down.

The mountains are unforgettable.

But it’s the life around them that stayed with me.

No plans. Just strolled across the streets of this quiet little village. Beyond the busy cities, places like this remind you what everyday Italy feels like.

Monaco is often defined by its luxury, but what stayed with me wasn’t the supercars or yachts—it was the way the Mediterranean wrapped itself around every street, every balcony, and every sunset. My perspective - the views are the real wealth.

The midnight sun in Lofoten is a strange experience — your eyes say it’s late, but the light disagrees.
Nothing feels in a hurry, and somehow you’re wide awake without trying.

These frames are from a night that never really became night.
No big plan, no checklist… just walking, stopping, clicking, repeating.
If you ever go to Lofoten, don’t chase the perfect spot — the light does most of the work for you.

If you’ve seen a midnight sun before, you know this feeling.
If you haven’t, add it to your “someday” list — it’s worth it.

Last Light.
Allepey, slowing down under the golden hour.

This is the last sunset I photographed this year. Just a day easing into night. A good way to end another beautiful year. by @calmshutter

Alleppey – A houseboat experience

Days moved differently out here.
Water instead of roads,
time measured in light and passing palms.

Just drifting, watching, slowing down. taken in Kerala - God's Own Country by @calmshutter

Pause — a little photo series from Rosendal, a small village on the Hardangerfjord in Norway.
No big story, no grand message — just moments where the world felt slower.
Quiet houses, soft light, fjords in the distance, and that feeling of being somewhere that doesn’t ask anything from you.
We just walked, looked, and took pictures when something felt worth remembering.
This series is my way of holding onto that feeling of time moving a little slower.

If you ever visit Norway, you’ve got to visit this little village.
And when you do, tell them Kangkan says hi.

Share with someone you’d wander with.
