“Over the heads of her students, Morehouse holds a crown that she challenges them to grow tall enough to wear.” ~ Howard Thurman, Morehouse College class of 1923

Therefore, I had to go grab the crown:

👑 BA in Political Science and Philosophy
👑 Summa Cum Laude
👑 Phi Beta Kappa
👑 Robert H. Brisbane Award - Top Ranking Scholar in Political Science
👑 Departmental Honors in Philosophy
👑 Rhodes Scholarship Finalist
👑 Howard Thurman Honors Scholar
👑 Otis Moss Jr. and Otis Moss III Oratorical Contest First Place Recipient
👑 White House HBCU Recognition Scholar
👑 Beinecke Scholarship Recipient
👑 Harry S. Truman Scholarship Finalist
👑 UNCF Macy’s Brighter Futures Scholar
👑 Oprah Winfrey Scholar
👑 UNCF Mellon Mays Fellow
👑 and counting…

Thankful for family, friends, Morehouse brothers, administrators, professors, and staff that helped me grow tall enough to finally wear this crown. Without you all, I would not have made it to this point in my matriculation🤞🏾❤️

Now on to achieving the next crown: a Ph.D. in Philosophy at Northwestern University and a J.D. in loading…

Peace Mother @morehouse1867✌🏾Until homecoming of course🙌🏾💯
