One of the greatest days of my life happened 21 years ago today. My life completely changed, and I experienced a love I never knew was possible.

Evangel came into this world and brought so much purpose and joy with him. He has been so gracious about having parents who were just kids themselves, and I am so honored to have “grown up” alongside him.

His laughter is contagious. His hugs are the absolute best—and I am sooo looking forward to the next one. His wisdom is beyond his years. The love he has for his siblings is something incredibly special. His talent and creativity constantly blow my mind, and his heart for people is something I desire to be more like.

Most importantly, watching his love for the Lord and his willingness to follow God’s will for his life has been one of the most beautiful gifts.

Evangel, I am so proud of the young man you have become, and I am beyond honored that God chose me to be your mom. Happy 21st birthday! I love you more than words could ever express. ❤️ by @calvinac

I really thought it would get easier each time. I was wrong 😭
I am so proud of Evangel pursuing God's call on his life. Please continue praying for him as he is away at school. I am going to miss his hugs so much...I may be making an 8 hr drive soon. 😀
