There comes a point where you stop asking, “How do I accomplish more?” and begin asking, “How do I come home to myself?”

That’s the question that quietly changed both of our lives.

Meditation became more than a practice—it became a return to our roots, our community, and a different way of living.

Over the years, we’ve watched that same longing live in thousands of others.

This story shares a little glimpse into how our 501(c)(3) non-profit organization Asians Who Meditate came to be, how the All Who Meditate Project was born, and why we continue creating spaces for people to slow down together.

Whether you’ve been with us from the beginning or you’ve just found your way here, we’re grateful our paths have crossed.

Ten years ago, after Honey Belle’s first strong year, my family and I invested in this space together. It was bigger than what I could carry alone. So we carried it as a family 🤍

In the back rooms, I was making products by hand — during a season when I was discovering and rebuilding myself after an emotional setback. Creating skincare and committing to self-care wasn’t just a new business venture. It was how I slowly came back home 💆🧴

My mom opened a satellite location here, seeing acupuncture patients in the front offices. I would slip into her treatment rooms between meetings. Healing was happening in these walls long before we ever called it The Healing House ✨

For five years, this space held our families’ businesses and dreams. Team meetings. Meditation before brainstorms. Launch parties. Warehouse sales. Media shoots. Late nights. Growing pains.

Then the world shifted.
The rooms went quiet.

We found tenants to take it over.

Last year, a turn of events happened. My father left our family. Our tenant’s lease ended unexpectedly. The space returned to us in a season of transition.

We could have let it go. Instead, we chose to begin again.

Not perfectly. Not all at once. Just enough to start.

We released some of the old foundations and brought in some renewed energy.

We set new intentions. With slower mornings. With clearer boundaries. With an energetic foundation for what this would become 🪽

Snake year taught us to shed what no longer fit.

The Fire Horse asks us to move forward —
but this time, rooted.

What you’re seeing is the first chapter of The Healing House — a healing sanctuary rooted in holistic wellbeing, eastern medicine, self-care, and ancient wisdom.

Built with intention and love.

We’ve been dreaming about this retreat for years 🪬☁️

Throughout our own journeys, we’ve invested tens of thousands of dollars, countless hours of our time and energy into self-development programs, healing experiences, and soul-searching retreats.

We’ve learned from incredible teachers, explored different practices, sat with difficult questions, and experienced what can happen when we step away from everyday life long enough to truly listen inward.

Some experiences challenged us.
Some brought us closer together.
Some changed the way we see ourselves and the life we want to create.

Breathe & Become has been shaped by everything we’ve learned, experienced, and wished for along the way.

Part holistic mastermind, part meditation retreat, it’s a space to slow down, reconnect with your purpose, your breath, release what’s been holding you back, and create room for the next version of who you’re becoming.

After years of envisioning, we’re so excited to finally bring our first Breathe & Become retreat to life in Bali ⊹

And that’s a wrap on 6 weeks of Sunset Sounds in Las Vegas 🌅🥹🤎

What started as a simple idea to gather, breathe + slow down together became six weeks of new faces, returning faces, families, friends, sound, reflection, release, laughter, little ones moving around the room, and a community choosing to pause together every Monday night.

Thank you to every single person who stepped into the room with us. Whether you came once or returned week after week, you helped create what Sunset Sounds became 🫶

And a very special thank you to our friends at @arbosana_lasvegas for opening their doors to us, co-hosting this series + giving our community a beautiful space to gather 🫒

It feels bittersweet to close this chapter in Vegas… but we get to carry a little piece of it with us ✨

Up next: we’re bringing Sunset Sounds to Brea, California for a special 2-week community series at @thehealinghousebrea 🛖

Same intention. A new room + community.

A place to breathe.
A place to pause.

We’re beginning to wrap up our six-week community series of Sunset Sounds 🌅 and feeling a little bittersweet about it all.

What started as a simple idea for an outdoor sunset meetup — with just 1 person joining us for our very first session — unexpectedly grew into an indoor collaboration with our dear friends at @arbosana_lasvegas and a room filled with new + returning faces week after week 🥹🤎🫒

Together, we’ve been able to hold space for rest, healing, reflection, release + transformation. A little sacred container to pause from the noise of everyday life, connect with our breath, and simply be in community with one another.

And now, we have just one more Monday together 🫶

Our final Sunset Sounds gathering is this coming Monday, September 21st. If you’ve been thinking about joining us but haven’t made it into the room yet, maybe this is your sign to make a little space for yourself — even if it’s simply an hour to breathe.

And if you’ve already shared a Monday night with us, we’d love to close out these six weeks together 🤎

Newest @hellokittycafevegas location inside The Forum Shops at Caesar’s Palace 🙌🎀 Grand Opens 9/18 at 11am 🎉

We loved getting a little preview before the official opening, and especially the private reservation-only Bow Room experience for afternoon tea with so many yummy sweet and savory bites. Our toddler daughter absolutely loved it 😍🥹

Her favorite part was being able to meet the kitty herself, and she couldn’t stop asking for her after we left 😭🫶

Congrats to @andythenguyen and the team for yet another incredible location — and the largest HK Cafe on the west coast! 🌴 Loving all the details here and exclusive merch items.

I’m seeing how much of my life I’ve spent avoiding uncomfortable conversations.

I learned early on to sweep things under the rug, move on, and act like everything was okay. I carried that with me more than I’d like to admit.
