Paw Paw we did it!!
It’s been a ride y’all. Capped off my final wrestling season with a 104-12 career record and a state championship title. These 4 years have been a roller coaster for me mentally and emotionally. I could not have done it with out my supporters and most importantly, the people who doubted me.

Fear, negativity, narcissism, all those types of things. Those don’t get a seat at the table. Kindness, ambition, determination pray of righteousness, virtue, those types of things, those are the things that sit at the table and get a vote. As you guys are going through high school and if you win state titles or if you’re going to win national titles or whatever, you gotta really make sure that you’ve realized that there’s actually nothing that much special about you. You do all the hard work but at the end of the day all you did was catch the wave, and don’t confuse yourself with the wave. You were out there, you were in the chaos of the crazy ocean. You did the work, you balanced, you had the perfect time, and then you were brave enough to stand up and surf that wave. But that wave is gonna come and go. You are going to crash eventually, and when you do crash or when the wave does end, what are you gonna do? Be content with what you did? The one wave that you’ve fought? The one state title that you won? The one conference or regional out of that you’ve won? That’s what a lot of people do. But I encourage you guys to head back into the ocean and start swimming and get it again.. that’s all life is, it’s all about waves.~ B. Meredith by @calvineason126
