To the Student Body at Tennessee State University

I came & I stood on BUSINESS. This position was more than just a title but to serve with a PURPOSE. The future of my institution was in my hands & I wasn’t letting anyone down.

Thank you for more than just allowing me to serve but I realized this position became bigger than me. From a ton of emails to showing up and showing out in meeting on behalf of the student body. Creating an environment for ALL students whether you are in person, online, or a transfer. Actively getting involved in the community was one of my main targets.

Stepping into SGA I had no handouts & no guidance. From becoming a representative at large to the 85th SGA President was an enormous jump. From working with a department to working onside of President Tucker. I prayed to make an impact and fix any errors to help TSU thrive.

When talking to @chrissy.oquinn I realized I was in a rude of awakening from asking her a million questions to trying to figure out the l8g5y I wanted to leave. From long meetings to fighting for what’s right. I applaud chrissy for setting the bar so HIGH I knew I had to aim higher

To the BEST administration class presidents @tripple_t14 @Malachi @i3raylon @akiyahmarieee . I know we hit some rocky road but thank you for working with me whether it was a video due or an event that neeeded to be approve. I applaud you for the hard work each of you have to put in this academic school year. Continue to grow and expand with all the knowledge you’ve been taught. Love yall deeply

To the 85th Administration, thank you all for working with me. I know I was a wild one but the outcome to every decision & made was truly for the students. I love each every one of y’all ! We forever on TOP

Sincerely the Email President

As Jackie Robinson once said, “A life is not important except in the impact it has on other lives.”

The BEST male organization on campus built on legacy, leadership, and progression from 1963 to 1995 and still evolving.

Collegiate 100 pushed me beyond my comfort zone, challenged me to grow, and held me to a higher standard. It taught me discipline, brotherhood, and what it truly means to lead with purpose. Forever Brisk & Breezy.

To B19 — the biggest and BEST bond in C100 history. Thank you for sharpening me, correcting me, and constantly pushing me to aim higher. The memories, the lessons, and long nights. Ipad boy singing out

To B20 — you all came in, made your mark, and carried the torch with excellence. From the long nights to Charter Day service, your dedication never went unnoticed. The organization is in great hands.

To Alvin @_.aalvinnn — it’s wild how we met freshman year and clicked instantly. From TigerPal Mentor days to now being part of one of the strongest lineages in 100, and growing through SGA to E-Board. Proud of you always. This is the mentee & mentorship relationship many want but can’t get it💯

That’s what this brotherhood is about. impact, legacy, and purpose.

Justice isn’t just a system it’s a responsibility ⚖️

As a student of Criminal Justice & Political Science , I’m learning that real change comes from understanding the law, protecting communities, and standing for what’s right even when it’s not easy.

This path is bigger than a degrees. It’s about impact, accountability, and making sure every voice is heard.

Late nights studying case law, early mornings reviewing policies, and every discussion that challenged how I think about justice, it’s all part of the journey.

Grateful for the College of Liberal Arts for pouring into me, pushing me to think critically, and shaping me into the leader I’m becoming.

To the organization that BUILT me 🧱

There was a time I was just a young man trying to figure it out trying to understand what the world expected of me, what it meant to carry myself with purpose, and how to step into rooms with confidence when I was still finding my voice. I didn’t know how to tie a tie, how to command the room , or how to lead when no one was watching.

But Build Institute… you changed that

To the FOUNDation of Build Institute, thank you for pouring into me, for shaping me, and for instilling the discipline, character, and standard of excellence that defines what a man should be. Lessons wasn’t just taught it was built in me, helping me create accountability, and developed a brotherhood that goes far beyond titles.

To my brothers my lifelong brothers thank you. Through every late night, every early morning, every challenge, and every victory, we stayed ten toes down together. We’ve grown together, pushed each other, and held each other to a higher standard. I wouldn’t trade this journey or this brotherhood for anything.

This is a legacy. This is a foundation that will continue to stand strong through everything we accomplish in life.

The blue is what I BLEED. (3/10)

From the 225 to the 615 the legacy was left.
Thank you Tennessee State University for raising a man who was once lost and didn’t have a pathway to success. For every connection and opportunity for growth it was time to release the Tiger in me. 🐅 From Lena B. Watson Hall August 17th at 2:00PM to Howard C. Gentry Sr May 2nd at 1:00PM. Tennessee State University you gave me a life I would have never imagined walking into. This degree is for my parents for always encouraging me to get it out the mud. Always reminding me the world is as real as it gets. These bone was built with excellence. These stripes was EARNED taken in Tennessee State University by @calvjrr

Thank you, God. Proverbs 16:3 (1/10)
As a first-generation college student on a full-ride scholarship, nine hours away from home, I am beyond grateful.
Thank you for leading me to Tennessee State University, an HBCU with a powerful legacy of innovation and developing the next generation of leaders. This achievement is for my parents, who have always been my motivation and the reason I let my work speak for itself.

So, what’s next? 🎓
