I’m excited to be screening Buckwild at this year’s @mountainfilm festival in Telluride!

While making this film I wanted to use kinetic, fast-paced editing to reflect the chaos and instability of Nate’s life, while emphasizing quieter breath moments to reveal what keeps him grounded: his love for the land, devotion to family, and unwavering faith. Through these elements I aimed to create a portrait of a man fighting to hold onto himself in the middle of uncertainty.

It’s been very rewarding seeing all the initial reactions to the film so far. Looking forward to seeing you all at the festival! Screening times are Friday 05/22 8pm at High Camp and Sunday 05/24 2:30pm at the Palm Theater. taken in Carbondale, Colorado by @cam.doh

BUCKWILD - Official Trailer

I wanted to make a film about the Nieslanik family because they represent something rare and deeply rooted: a multi-generational ranching family that has not only preserved a way of life in Carbondale, Colorado, but also helped shape the identity of the community itself. Their story is one of resilience, tradition, and quiet leadership - values that feel increasingly important in a changing world.

The way Nate overcame his trials and tribulations with the support of his family is truly admirable. Through Nate’s experience I would like to shed light on mental health awareness, while honoring his family’s legacy and paying respect to his late father and grandfather, Matt and John Nieslanik.

Premiering @5pointfilm Thursday, April 23rd @7pm.

I am very grateful to announce my film “Buckwild” will be premiering at this year’s @5pointfilm showcasing my good friend and local legend Nate Nieslanik.

Growing up in Carbondale, this festival played a huge role in inspiring me to become a filmmaker. Watching films there as a kid sparked my passion for storytelling and showed me the power of cinema. It’s an incredible full-circle moment to have the world premiere of my film at the very festival that helped shape my career.

Excited to share this experience with my friends and family in the place that means so much to me. I hope to see you all there on April 23rd at 7pm! Full trailer dropping next week! taken in Carbondale, Colorado by @cam.doh

New work out for Cleveland Golf, the whole team went hard on this piece. We turned a tiny office into a golf ball war zone. Thanks to the crew for making this one happen!
