🥩 #3 Recap

7/9, 597.5/1317 Total @ 86.7/191 BW

S: 3/3, 227.5/501 (+2.5kg MPR)(+2.5kg ATPR)
B: 2/3, 132.5/292 (-2.5kg MPR)(-7.5kg ATPR)
D: 2/3, 237.5/523 (-5kg MPR)(-10kg ATPR)
250/551 in my dreams 💔

Thank you everyone for the support, I've been feeling very grateful for all the great people this sport has brought to me. This meet didn't go exactly how I wanted with the miss on my 3rd bench/deadlift but it was still a fun time.

Thank you Eric for handling and coaching! We've come so far but our best lifting is still ahead of us.

Thank you Han for everything, you're the best and I love you!

Finally, thank you to all the fellas at Adam's, LFOD, and everyone at states. The meet was ran so well and couldn't have asked for anything else @agent21emh @andrewgraves212 . Onto regionals! by @cam.sbd

Drip over skill

S: 215/474 x 1 (-10kg)
B: 132.5/292 x 1 (-7.5kg)
D: 237.5/523 x 1 (-10kg)
T: 585/1289 (-27.5kg)(-5kg MPR)

Pretty much matched last block's W4/5 but took 2.5kg less on bench and 2.5kg more on deadlift. This was a great lift with all the LFOD homies, always a great visit. It's been a rocky prep but can't wait to put it all together next week. by @cam.sbd

First deadlift PR since Maine States '24 😵‍💫

S: 225/496 x 1 (ATPR Match)
B: 140/308 x 1 (ATPR Match)
D: 247.5/545 x 1 (+5kg ATPR)
T: 612.5/1350 (+15kg ATPR)(+22.5kg MPR)

Wow, easily my best training day ever I wanna thank Eric for helping me through all the ups and downs. Hasn't been the easiest prep with getting sick and dropping some weight causing me to restart a block 3 times but 4 more weeks to push! #meat by @cam.sbd

🥩 #2 Recap

7/9, 590/1300 Total @ 87.5/193 BW

Squat:
205/451 ⚪️⚪️⚪️
217.5/480 ⚪️⚪️⚪️
225/496 ⚪️⚪️🔴 (+5kg MPR)

Squat was kind of funny on the day, the only lift I went 3/3 on but had pretty bad walkouts on all 3 attempts. I also dug them all too much which made it more difficult than it had to be. Given the fact that for 9 months I couldn't squat 385 without reaggrivating my lower back I'm happy to be walking out of this meet healthy

Bench:
127.5/281 ⚪️⚪️⚪️ (+12.5kg MPR)
135/297 ⚪️⚪️⚪️ (+20kg MPR)
142.5/314 🔴🔴🔴

Bench has been taking big strides in the last couple blocks but leading into the comp I cut too much weight which threw it off, third might have been a little ambitious but happy to walk away with a big meet pr nevertheless

Deadlift:
215/474 ⚪️⚪️⚪️
230/507 ⚪️⚪️⚪️ (-12.5kg MPR)
240/529 🔴🔴🔴

Coming into the meet training had been kind of flat for dead's, like squat I didn't have a lot of heavy exposure before the meet so we weren't too sure on my top end for the day. Even though this was significantly under my first meet I know I have better technique and once again I'm walking away healthy so no complaints there

Total:
590/1300 (+12.5kg MPR)

@ericthestrong and I tried a new taper strategy going into the meet which didn't work the same way we thought it would on paper but we can use this to be better in the future. So thankful for eric handling me on the day and being my coach we share a lot of the same opinions and view points on powerlifting and life in general so it's very cool to be able to work with him and grow as a lifter and human being, roll tide

Another big thank you to @shack.strength who has been lifting with me since planet fitness and has always pushed me to be a better lifter, always good times with the boy

Thank you to @hannahblehar for always supporting me and being by my side, I love you!

Thank you to the people there meet day, @teddyliftz it's been great having you at LFOD, @lizard_lifts for the great commentary, and the volunteers!

More to come in the future, I can't wait to get back to the gym and enter states prep to chase the collegiate nationals qt by @cam.sbd

Total: 577.5kg/1273.2lbs @ 87.7kg/193.3lbs

Wow. This was my first ever meet and saying it was a great experience would be an understatement. Coming into this meet I was nervous and felt the whole world crashing in on me as I got a sore shoulder for a couple days where I couldn't bench and was sick before and during the meet. Despite this though by the time I had felt my first squat on my back nothing mattered besides what I was doing.

I want to thank @ericthestrong for coaching me the past 4 months and I wouldn't be anywhere close to where I am today if it wasn't for him.

I want to thank the rest of the lfod community especially the people at the meet @kaelli.trunks @shack.strength @santa_kilos for always pushing me to be better

I like to thank @jasonwentoutside for this amazing footage and making the terrible drive up to Augusta in the snow

Finally want to thank @usaplmaine @agent21emh @andrewgraves212 for hosting this amazing meet, I couldn't have asked for any more

But overall I am very happy with my meet a few things went differently than I wanted but nonetheless it was amazing by @cam.sbd
