This is what growth as a team and a community looks like!

Out of our 11 qualifying athletes, 8 of them will be taking the stage this week in Chicago at USAPL Raw Nationals.

After only having one athlete at the prior two national meets Entropic’s representation has exponentially grown.

A symbol of all of the hard work that goes on behind the scenes and off of the phone screen.

See y’all in Chicago!

Interested in finding your Edge?

Not every performance problem needs another exercise, set or program.

Sometimes the thing holding you back is how you respond to pressures. Here, you’ll become better equipped to navigate them.

Introducing The Entropic Edge: Performance Consulting, led by Coach Mike.

This service is designed to address the critical mental and behavioral aspects of performance that another training program or extra set simply cannot
solve.
Mike has spent years working alongside Special Operators, professional athletes, and special populations to bridge the gap between physical preparation and elite execution.

Mike helps you build repeatable, actionable systems to get out of your own way and move forward.

The Entropic Team cares about you as a lifter, but also as a person, friend, and teammate.
Totals are the byproduct. The people we support are the priority.

We’ve watched lifters nail every rep in training and miss a bench on the platform because the ref held them a second longer than they were used to.

That’s not a strength problem. It’s a practice problem, and it’s fixable.

Send this to your training partner. Ask them to start giving you commands.🛑 by @entropic_ts

NE Regionals ‘26 Athlete Meet Recap: Jeremiah Joines

This was Jeremiah’s 2nd ever meet since we first stepped on the platform in April. We were able to add 62.5kg/138lb onto his total in just 6 months, with leaving room in the tank on his thirds for bench and deadlift. This happily surprised both of us, and we definitely peaked all three lifts perfectly. With training PRS in prep of 450 squat, 265 bench, and 455 deadlift, we were able to ATPR on meet day by 7-20lb which was exciting.

We most definitely have Nationals on our eyes going forward, but for now we build, enjoy the process, and keep getting STRONG!

Full meet recap ⬇️

Squat: (2/3)
1. 185kg / 407lb ❌ (commands)
2. 197.5kg / 435lb ✅
3. 207.5kg / 457lb ✅ (+17.5kg)

Bench (3/3)
1. 112.5kg / 248lb❌ (commands)
2. 117.5kg / 260lb ✅
3. 125kg / 275.6lb ✅ (+10kg)

Deadlift (3/3)
1. 187.5kg / 412.5lb ✅
2. 205kg / 451lb ✅
3. 215kg / 475lb ✅ (+35kg)

Total: 547.5kg/1208lb (+62.5kg)

What Entropic is About.

Being an athlete extends beyond your time in the gym. It’s who you are outside of it, and how you show up for the rest of your team.

Being a coach does too. It goes beyond how we give feedback.

Short on time? Don’t just superset random exercises. Pair INTENSIVE + EXTENSIVE work.

INTENSIVE = heavy, high-output, high-skill lifts (heavy RDL, bench, weighted pull-ups). Protect performance here.

EXTENSIVE = lower-cost work that adds something different (unilateral, frontal/transverse plane, scapular or trunk work).

SWIPE FOR EXAMPLES EXPLAINED 👉

Ask: “What is the primary exercise already demanding?”

Then pick a second movement that doesn’t double down on the same limiting factor. If performance tanks, technique slips, or cardio becomes the bottleneck, it’s not a good pairing, it’s just more fatigue.

Good supersets save time. Great pairings distribute stress. Protect the intensive work, fill the gaps with extensive work. Get in. Get the adaptation. Get out.

The RDL gives you:
→ High bilateral force production
→ Heavy posterior-chain loading
→ High trunk/stiffness demand

The lateral lunge gives you:
→ Frontal-plane exposure
→ Weight shifting
→ Unilateral loading
→ Lower absolute loading

Bench:
→ High pressing output
→ Bilateral
→ More compression/stiffness

Cable row:
→ Lower load
→ Unilateral
→ Rotation/anti-rotation opportunity
→ Scapular movement on the rib cage

You’re not trying to exhaust the opposing muscle.

Choosing looks like⬇️

Heavy bilateral → consider unilateral
Sagittal → consider frontal/transverse
High stability demand → consider more supported
High output → consider lower-cost movement by @entropic_ts

It feels amazing when everything goes exactly right. You slept a full 8 hours, your favorite song is playing, the warm-up weights feel like feathers, and your focus is effortless.

But as lifters, athletes and operators, we have to watch out for the fallacy of perfection—the belief that we need all those stars to align before we are allowed to perform at our best.

When we rely on a flawless runway to feel confident, we accidentally make ourselves fragile. If the meet runs two hours behind, the weather turns ugly on the field, or the training environment is chaotic, it’s easy to feel like our day is ruined before we even start.

But your hard work isn’t that fragile. You’re still just as capable as when you walked in.

At Entropic Edge, we help you remain confident in the unknown and stay ready.
We want to shift the goal from having a “perfect run” to having a resilient, adaptable process. By focusing on the internal tools you carry with you everywhere—like your breathing, your self-talk, and your personal pre-performance anchors—you learn to find your focus even when the day is messy.
Let’s build a routine that doesn’t require a perfect day to get an elite result. You are ready to execute, exactly as things are. by @entropic_ts

Let’s be honest: we’ve all had those moments where one mistake completely derails a session or even a game.
Maybe you missed your opening squat, threw a wild pitch, or had a drill go off-script. It’s incredibly frustrating.

But, the moment we let that frustration bleed into our next attempt, we’ve handed control over to the mistake.
When you dwell on what just happened, you aren’t playing or lifting anymore—you are fighting yourself.

At Entropic Edge, we help you better prepare, better prepare for the “When”, not “If”.
It’s a simple, physical tool (like adjusting your grip, a specific breath, or a focal point) that acts as a mental partition. It tells your brain: That rep is over.
Learn from it, drop it, and focus on what is right in front of us.
You can’t change the last play, but you have control over how you choose to show up for the next one.

Brace harder ≠ lift heavier.

A rigid trunk resists flexion, side bending, and rotation. But more pressure than you can control will change your position, and then you’ve lost the strategy you planned to use to produce force.
The goal isn’t the hardest brace possible. It’s the right balance of pressure and tension for the task.
How to tell you’re there:
1. Can you get into position without the brace pulling you out of it?
2. Can you hold it once force is introduced?
3. Can you still push through the floor and sustain your drive?
4. Does execution look the same from warm-ups to heavy work?
5. Can you reproduce it rep to rep, set to set?

A good brace isn’t something you accidentally find once. It’s something you can reproduce.

Swipe for more details 👉

1. Can you get into the position you want?
If your breath or brace changes your positioning, moves you away from the bar, or inhibits your ability to get under the bar, you may be creating more pressure than you can effectively organize.

2. Can you maintain that position under load?
If the brace disappears as soon as you start the rep:
It ain’t enough.
Getting into position doesn’t matter much if you can’t maintain it once force is introduced.

3. Can you still produce force?
Can you push through the floor?
Can you maintain your pull into the bar?
Can you sustain your drive, or does it quit on you?
Your brace should support force production, not compete with it.

4. Does execution stay consistent as intensity rises?
Does your position and sequencing remain recognizable from your warm-ups all the way to your heavy work?
If your strategy completely changes once the weight gets heavy, look at what you’re changing before the rep even starts.

5. Can you reproduce it?
Can you recreate it:
Rep to rep?
Set to set?
Under different tempos?
As intensity increases?

Which of these 5 is your weak link? 👇 by @entropic_ts

GPP isn’t about making powerlifters good at GPP. It’s about building the capacity to handle the work that actually matters.

Fill the gaps your program leaves open, not the ones it already hammers.

Coaches: DON’T ask “What else can I add?”
ASK “What does this athlete need more capacity for, and what can I add without creating another recovery problem?”
