Son of God II: Devil May Cry is the follow-up to Son of God, built from music I thought was gone forever. During the original sessions, a hard drive crashed and took a batch of songs with it. I spent months scrambling for copies, digging through files, trying to rebuild what I could — nothing. Eventually I let it go.

In 2025, after upgrading my phone, I found the lost tracks sitting inside a file management app. A moment I’ll never forget. I released them as singles last year, but they deserve a home together. This project is that home — the rest of my favorite records from the Son of God era, preserved the way they were meant to be heard.

Thank you to Lil Ki from Jerome, T Marie, Byrd, and Kur. Phenomenal artists and collaborators. Their versatility is something our city needs —something Hip Hop needs.

Son of God is a snapshot of who I was at a moment where everything felt heavy but necessary. This project is deeply personal — a reflection of my faith, my losses, my ambition, and the battles I fought internally while trying to grow. I layered sharp, honest lyrics over soulful, cinematic production to tell my story as clearly as I could. Every track is a confession, a memory, or a lesson I had to learn in real time.

I wasn’t chasing perfection when I made this album — I was chasing understanding. Son of God is about resilience, about standing in the middle of doubt and still believing there’s purpose in the struggle. It’s the sound of me confronting pain, holding onto hope, and documenting a transformation I couldn’t ignore. This project is for anyone carrying scars while still trying to evolve. by @camalcc_

Grey and Pitchblack were both experiments — ways for me to get out of my own thoughts and ideas and turn them into something real. These projects were made six years apart, and in between them came growth, fearlessness, memories, experience, and trial and error. I’m extremely thankful to anyone who ever bought a copy, played it for family and friends, studied to it, cooked to it, came to a show, or bought merch. Thank you to my family and friends for standing by me, believing in me, and letting this music live in your spaces and moments. I love Hip Hop so much. I thank God for helping me pair that love with my heart and intention as a writer inside these two pieces of art.

Shoutout Nomad @nomad_face for the inspiration and for allowing me to use his art to visually carry a very Grey and Pitchblack message.

Both projects are moments in time. That’s always been my intention. I’m not trying to give you 18–21 track albums. I want something you can listen to from A to B. That’s why my projects live in that 20–25 minute space. I believe in making the most out of that time. No over-explaining — just intention. What can I say that stays with you after it’s over? Whatever you felt during that listen, I want it to last.

There’s something powerful about a mother’s prayer.
