Hey there art fans! We’re less than a week out from the Sunshine Coast Art Crawl and I’m so excited to chat about art for 3 days. Am I completely ready? No of course not. Will I be completely ready the night before? Also unlikely. But regardless I look forward to showing you what I’ve been working on, including an assortment of 4”x12” pieces with hammered copper accents by my lovely pal @acornandanvildesigns . These are 3 of 6 that I’ve created for art crawl, along with some mediums, and large pieces as well!
.
We’ve got a great stop for you at 1032 Stephens Rd (venue 87, 88, 89)- with myself, and my wonderful art friends @ashleywatsonceramics and @acornandanvildesigns .
.
In my opinion the best event on the coast, I hope you’ll get out and visit the amazing artists sprinkled up and down the coast. We’ve got an incredibly creative community and I feel very lucky to be a part of it. Happy crawl everyone!! by @cambria.logan

I like to sketch in down time at the summer markets. I kept doodling simple designs with birds and branches. Finally made the time to bring one of those ideas to life. Feeling really draw to super simple designs lately.

“Midnight Snack”
.
Sometimes I struggle with naming pieces (I.e. I always struggle naming pieces), but I was veryyyy pleased with this title haha. Although not entirely sure if it’s accurate…do bears hunt salmon at night? That seems very challenging. I could google this, but I will not, and will continue to wildly speculate on bear eating habits.

📍Art Crawl, venue 85
🗓️ Oct 17-19, 10-5pm
🥂 +5-7pm Friday, snacks and refreshments by @cambria.logan

Time to start introducing my art crawl pieces! Among my art crawl collection is five triptychs - and this one is definitely a favourite. Trailing nasturtiums, pollinators, garden friends. Sometimes I like to imagine my scale wildly different, walking through a forest of grass with a nasturtium umbrella…just me? Cool cool…
.
Triptychs are SO fun to design and wildly time consuming haha, but worth it. Something about three panels creates such a different experience than just one.
.
Come see them in person at art crawl! Where you can see my paintings, as well as handmade jewellery by @acornandanvildesigns and handmade pottery by @ashleywatsonceramics 🙌
