It’s always a pleasure to be able to provide some form of musical service for people, and session work is something I’ve always wanted to do more of. So with that said, I’m formally and proudly announcing (again) that I’m AVAILABLE and open for all kinds of session work!

Don’t have a lot of shows to play so my availability is up. Outside of the bands I’m in, just wrapped up a shoegazey alt metal ep for a friend as well as wrapping up a new heavier project or two, all which you’ll hear about at some point..

***all the slides aren’t session works, just mostly things I’ve played on and/or helped write in current and past bands.***

QUADRO - LET’S HEAR IT FOR THE VAGUE BLUR (full bass cover)

That first part alone, hardest @quadro.ri song from the ep. But all in all crazy fun especially the latter half! Couldn’t resist posting another cover of this band after posting a clip of a different song on my main account a while back.

It was such a pleasure filling for da boys at a gig back in August and now I’m happy to do it again tomorrow in Westerly RI w Rotting in the Chapel, Infernal Diatribe and Putrefact Indulgence. Definitely playing this song there too!

Fun fact, this ep came out a year ago (yesterday) and it still amazes me with each listen, AND I still can’t believe I’m ripping gigs with these talented friends.

Also mark my words I WILL get better at mixing bass / buying a dark glass plugin before I record another bass cover like this lol I’ve been lazy

Table Rock, Coos County, NH -> Lake Willoughby, Orleans County, VT🍁

A much needed lone road trip up north filled with peak fall foliage and hiking and driving through places I either never been to or maybe have driven through once and as simplistic and ordinary as some places might be for the season, it was an insanely beautiful experience, a heavenly form of solace that was ultimately giving me some self care/me-time away from the usual gigging and mundane life outside of it.

I know I’ve already made a couple story posts of this trip less than 24 hours ago but I couldn’t resist making a fuller proper big post of it. All in all one of the happiest and most peaceful times I’ve had all year

Looking across to Sanguinary Mountain, which the summit is far back.

Not shown but Table Rock was crowded at the top but luckily it didn’t diminish the wonder and fascination that the mountain contained. A brief 1.5 mile total hike with 700+ ft elevation gain with views of a notch that’s underrated compared to other mountainous areas in NH.

Lake Gloriette at the bottom cross route 26 with the abandoned Balsams resort behind it. It’s been abandoned for years now and every now and then since, I’d hear about some guy bringing major expansive and expensive plans to bring it back but who knows at this point. It seems like a version of Mt Washington that’s even farther up north way more away from civilization and even more of a rich elite playground. But to experience that in its past glory would be a treat imo.

Abeniki Mountain towers behind it and that’s where the old ski trails were as far as I’m told. But looks as there’s lil to no signs of said trails.

I always try to do some sort of peak fall foliage road trip each year, even if certain places are overcrowded with tourists, it’s worth it to drive up anyway than to stay home imo. I typically have driven through the Kanc (and who knows if that happens soon this season anyway) but wanted to try something different and visit areas I either never go to or have maybe gone to once. I was by myself this time which wasn’t necessarily the plan, who knows I didn’t fully commit to deciding that anyway, but I knew I had to go up by @camden_connor

September dump (with two August photos because why not).

Month full of weird ups and downs but very much full of rocking out and hanging out, let alone: filling in for four of my favorite bands, and reconnecting with and seeing old friends which means it’s been a good month. Wish I could fit more photos or tag more people in here but oh well, onward to October.

Summer is ending but the rock n roll fill-in gig saga continues and picks up quite a bit next month.. busy but fun September with a bunch of friends 🎸

DOKKEN - INTO THE FIRE (guitar solo/last chorus cover)

My attempt at this iconic solo from one of my favorite bands and played by someone who’s a huge inspo to me as a guitarist. Added a lil bit of my own style here and there. Some of those bends are tough😭 but I still had fun attempting them.

Nothing but gratitude and appreciation for the @quadro.ri guys letting me rip a gig with them yesterday, one of the wildest sets I’ve played in a long time. Also some of the hardest songs I’ve learned to play live personally lol (but that’s part of the fun)

RAWDAWGIN DEMO - FULL GUITAR PLAYTHROUGH

I know what you’re thinking.. why is the project named that(?). With that said, I know it’s been posted a couple times this week already but the new RAWDAWGIN DEMO is out on SoundCloud and bandcamp (maybe YouTube soon) and that’s it.

Not necessarily a new band but just a fun random studio project between me @zulla_thebarbarian and @ant.noize where one day after the improv fastcore set at Paul’s earlier this summer, I got lumped into this thing by Paul after sending me phone recorded drums from Ant and asking me to lay down some guitar over it. Next thing I knew, this was a new fun and half baked project of fastcore, mince, powerviolence you name it. 8 songs in under 5 minutes and I thought of the riffs majorly in one playthrough session of playing to the drums and ironed out the rest the next day.

Enjoy this full playthrough while you can! Yes the song titles presented in the video are legit lol
