Shout-out to our trade partners ☝️

From pre-construction to punch. It starts with working through the details and constructibility before the project begins. DM to learn more about our process and let’s get started. by @camelcustombuilds

4,000 lbs of steel.
A few thousand pounds of concrete.
A new staircase.
And a whole lot of belt to 🫏.

The past 4–5 weeks have been a blast on this project that covered nearly every aspect of construction—structural steel, trenching for plumbing and a sump pump, electrical, and a mini-split system.

Best part? Just $850 in change orders from start to finish—under 1%.

That’s the power of our Pre-Construction Agreement. While uncommon in residential work, it creates predictable outcomes through proper planning, engineering, design coordination, and aligned trade partners—before construction even begins.

There once was a bathroom that was junk,
in a basement that had a sort of funk,
then Camel came in and gave it a spin,
and now it’s a bathroom with spunk.
Word.

Details Matter

We were wrapping up this bathroom renovation when I took a step back with the customer and realized something was missing. While the fixtures, tile, and finishes were all in place, the space still lacked that elevated feel.

The solution was picture frame molding. A subtle architectural detail that brought the entire room together, added dimension, and complemented the elegant art and lighting. It’s these final touches that transform a beautiful project into a truly custom experience.
