I lost my best friend a little over a month ago. She was my little shadow and it’s been weird not hearing her little collar jingle everywhere I go. She was my super smart, little confidant with such a big personality. Today would have been her 12th birthday, so here are some of the good times we had to celebrate her. I miss her a lot. R.I.P. When this festival first got announced I was so excited about the concept of an all women fronted line up and thought “I wonder if they’ll have a women camera team as well.” I had no idea who was running any of the film productions for the festival, so I just put it out in the universe that I wanted to work on it and left it alone. Then a few weeks ago, I get a random message asking if I was available to do Steadicam for the recap video 🤯 Manifestation is real!!

Thank you so much @tickingclockproductions and @humanbeingmedia for trusting me to dance with my Steadicam to capture this beautiful festival! What a great way to meet so many lovely camera women 🩷 Shout out to my awesome AC @sara.troy for capturing most of these moments!

Thank you @oliviarodrigo for creating a community of support and hope for women and girls in a world that seems to be so against us. Such an honor to be even a small part of @daisychainfields inaugural festival. Let’s keep it going 💛🌸🌼💗 taken in Great Park of Irvine by @camera.christine

Celebrating 🇵🇪 Hispanic Heritage Month 🎥 Christine Adams, SOC (@camera.christine):⁣
⁣
Christine Adams, SOC, is a Peruvian-American filmmaker who works with Steadicam, gimbal, and conventional camera setups. She is a member of IATSE Local 600 and has spent the first 8 years of her career in Los Angeles. She moved abroad to Munich, Germany for the past few years and is set to return to the City of Angels in December, eager to reunite with her fellow filmmakers.⁣
⁣
“For me, camera movement is very intuitive and the technical aspects keep me humble, a balance I enjoy. I’m grateful I get to have a career doing something that feels so natural to me. I’m also thankful for the excitement of the ever-evolving technology that expands the possibilities of what can be created.”⁣
