Something exciting is happening behind the scenes.

Mary Anne and I are creating a book featuring many of our favorite photographs from Camera Mama’s journey.

As we’ve been sorting through years of images, we’ve found ourselves revisiting photos that still move us, teach us, and remind us why we pick up our cameras in the first place.

Because of that, you’ll start seeing some familiar images in your feed.

Thank you for being part of this community and for allowing us to share this journey with you. We can’t wait to bring this book to life.

In the past, when I posted this quote I attributed it to ‘anonymous’ because I wasn’t sure what the ethics were behind claiming a quote that I used ChatGPT to help me hash out. I have since realized that AI did not create this quote, I created this quote, with the help of AI.

In the past I would often search for a quote expressing the sentiment I wanted to communicate. Often I could not find a quote that fit the bill. So I decided, why not say it myself?

Is your summer heating up? I love this capture and you did too, taken by Tammy @porters_wife_photography 💦 Another GoPro image captured in one shot as everyone was trying to cool down from 118° weather! It’s fun how everyone’s jump was captured differently and her perspective was from the water. A perfect example of being creative while having fun with your family!

Who’s been spending days in the pool or at the beach?! These have always been some of my favorite images we see tagged to Camera_mama. I’ve experimented a lot from the tips others have shared. The GoPro is my favorite for the amateur underwater photographer and editing can be tricky but there’s lots of tutorials out there. Here’s three that were your favorites too💦
