The @Sony FX3 is officially the smallest and cheapest cinema camera on the market!

Since Sony came out with the FX9, people have asked for a smaller version of the FX9.

That’s when Sony decided to release the FX6.

But they didn’t stop there!

They now released an even smaller version of the FX series, called the FX3

Some people have described the FX3 as an upgraded cinema version of the a7s III

While the a7s is a great camera... it is a Photo/Video Hybrid.

Whereas this FX3 has been made specifically with filmmakers in mind.

The FX3 features a 12.1MP BSI Full Frame Sensor!

Which is larger than the traditional Super 35mm sensor found in most cinema cameras!

Meaning you’ll have a wider FOV as well as shallower depth of field, compared to a S35 sensor.

It can shoot 4K up to a whooping 120fps!!

Or Full HD up to 240fps!

Making it a perfect compact camera, for slow motion shooting.

The FX3 has 15 stops of dynamic range and it promises to shoot awesome low light footage, similar to the a7s series.

Also featured is a 5 axis in body stabilization known as IBIS which has become very popular lately.

The camera also has a 3” flip out screen, which will help you frame your shot no matter the position your camera is in.

The FX3 will retail for $3,899!

@julienajarry has got himself covered with the FX6, FX3 and the A7s III!

Which one of these would you choose for your next project?

What are your thoughts on the FX3?
