Attention everyone!

Let me just say how freaking proud I am of Claire and what she has accomplished the least year. Today she graduated from The Commanding General Staff College (CGSC) and she CRUSHED it. Not only did she graduate as one of the top five students in a class of over a thousand students, she also got accepted to attend the School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS)! Which only a small amount of people who apply get accepted to attend SAMS. I am so proud of her and I can’t wait to see her crush it this next year in SAMS. She continues to amaze me with everything she does and it’s humbling to married to such a smart, talented, caring, and just an amazing Army Officer!

Today I took the diamond off and will be staring the next chapter with @clairevsimpson! The last 25 months being the First Sergeant has been the most rewarding job I have had in the Army this far. I have learned so much about myself as a leader, soldier, father, and husband along this journey. I hope to have left a true impact on 2-1 Infantry Battalion, Trojan Company, and the best company in the Brigade Centurion Company! I am thankful I was able to lead from the front while serving as Centurion 7! The last two years has flown by but absolutely hands down the best two years of my Army career so far. I am hoping I left a true impact on the soldiers, NCOs, and officers of Centurion Company and I know they will continue to be the best! Centurion 7 signing off and off to the next job! Also, huge thanks to the love of my life @clairevsimpson for making the trip to be here for this ceremony even though it’s a quick trip sometimes those are the best! by @cameron_brindle

Five years, 60 months, 260 weeks, or 1,825 days ago we said I DO! These past five years have been nothing but amazing and I couldn’t imagine life without you babe. The adventures, laughs, moves, deployments, easy times, and the hard times have been the best days of life so far! I can’t express how grateful and lucky I am that you choose me each and everyday. I am so excited for many many more years together full of love, happiness, adventures, and just enjoying life together! I’m am so proud of you @clairevsimpson for your promotion to MAJOR! You are the officer that all others should look up to and strive to be. You care so much for the Soldiers and the Army a true selfless leader! I am over here cheering you on and I will always be your biggest supporter. I can’t wait to see what you achieve in the years to come but I know it will only be great things.
