South Dakota pheasant opener 2026 done and dusted. Love being able to be out with a couple of buddies watching the dogs run out in the plains. #uplandtradition #skedaddlesetters #englishsetters by @cameronlcole

Checked another one off the list! South Dakota has given me opportunities that I wouldn’t have expected right in my back yard. This is just another reason why we love this area so much. Shoutout to @morganlcole for scouting the unit and coming with me to make for a quick and easy opening morning! #pronghorn #southdakota by @cameronlcole

I have a soft spot for all my dogs, but this little guy is something else. Maybe it’s because he’s from the first litter we have ever done or it’s his all black leg but he is a great buddy. He’s got quirks and personality and being only 2 he’s turning into a nice bird dog. #longshotsetter #englishsetter #uplandtradition by @cameronlcole

Had Nina’s owner, Marty out to South Dakota for his first time and we had such a great experience. Awesome company, great conversations, excellent whiskey and wine and obviously good bird work. Can’t wait to see what this little dog does and for our next hunt together. #skedaddlesetters #uplandtradition #englishsetter by @cameronlcole

Another great day in the field! Nina and Annie didn’t get rewarded for some great bird work. They had points but the coveys all wild flushed out front. Then Fergus and Louie ran amok but we got some birds. Great dogs and great friends make for great hunts. #skedaddlesetters #uplandtradition #englishsetter by @cameronlcole

Happy birthday to the best wife in the world. She’s the hardest worker and the most compassionate person I have ever met. But when I get her goofy side it’s my favorite! Love you honey. by @cameronlcole

Got to take a good friend out for his first sharptail and South Dakota experience. We had to grind through some bad luck, but we got it done. Marty is Nina’s owner and she showed off for him. At 9 months old she ran like a puppy but hunted like a big dog. @skedaddlesetters make some amazing dogs to train and hunt. by @cameronlcole

Officially wild bird season! We didn’t get a lot of opportunities on sharpies and huns but got in a ton of training on pheasants. Nina got her first wild covey point and retrieve. Excited for South Dakota opener next weekend! #northdakota #skedaddlesetters by @cameronlcole

Found this guy burried in a pile so I decided to put it to use. Flood irrigation is a labor of love but this will make it easier to divert and control water and it didn’t cost us a dime. I feel like all I do is wake up, irrigate, work, train dogs and irrigate some more. by @cameronlcole

This little pup Nina is just getting started and she impresses me everytime we go out. I am learning as a trainer to not set expectations and train and do in the moment what the dogs needs. But everyday this dog exceeds my expectations. #englishsetter #skedaddlesetter #uplandtradition by @cameronlcole

Coming in at 5 months or so this little pups is showing some promise! Thanks to @skedaddlesetters for breeding some great pups! Can I please just train full time? This is way more fun than work any day. #englishsetter #skedaddlesetters #uplandtradition by @cameronlcole
