Bula! During my visit to Sacramento, I ordered some food to take back home with me from @kanavinakakitchen which was highly recommended! After attending the Watermelon Festival, I was hungry and had to try some of their dhal which is one of my favorite Indian dishes! Had it with their soft roti that they make and it was so good! If you are in the Sacramento area or ever visit the area, check them out! #bula #fijiindianfood taken in Bishop's Pumpkin Farm by @cameronnathan

Starting Year 3 at California Baptist University ! ✈️🎓

God is so good! This past week kicking off the new academic year was busy, but it was also filled with encouragement, excitement, and reminders of why I’m so grateful to be part of the CBU Aviation family!

I’m looking forward to a new semester, welcoming more than 120 new aviation students, investing in the next generation of aviation professionals, and seeing what God has in store for the year ahead!

As we step into a new academic year, I’m reminded of Proverbs 16:3: “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.”

Here’s to a new year of learning, growing, serving, and trusting God with what’s ahead! 🙏✈️

Had an amazing time serving in San Quintín, Mexico through Mission Flight! 🇲🇽✈️ Got to serve alongside my colleagues and CBU Aviation Alumni!

What makes Mission Aviation so powerful is seeing how God can use something as simple as an airplane to help fulfill the Great Commission. These aircraft become a bridge carrying people, supplies, and the Gospel to places that can be difficult to reach.

Jesus calls us to “go and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19). What a privilege it is to see aviation used as a tool for the Lord’s work and to serve alongside incredible people who are committed to taking the Gospel wherever God sends them.

Grateful for the opportunity to serve, learn, and be part of something much bigger than ourselves. The mission is the Great Commission. The airplane is simply the tool.

Made it back safely from our mission trip to San Quintín, Mexico! 🇲🇽 Glad to serve alongside some amazing people especially those from @cbu.aviation

Check out @mission.flight and join us on one of their upcoming trips to serve and share the love of Christ!

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20

Earlier this year, I had the incredible opportunity to serve on my first international mission trip to San Quintín, Mexico. 🇲🇽✈️

It was also my first time experiencing Mission Aviation firsthand, seeing how aircraft become powerful tools to bring hope, serve communities, and advance the Gospel in places that are otherwise difficult to reach.

This weekend, I’m grateful to be heading out again alongside my colleagues from CBU Aviation in partnership with Mission Flight. I’m looking forward to another opportunity to serve, learn, and witness how aviation can make an eternal impact.

The mission continues. ✈️❤️

Looking back, it’s amazing how God prepares us for moments we never see coming.

The last time I preached was in the 6th grade, sharing a message on fear with a homeless community.

A little over two decades later, I had the incredible opportunity to share God’s Word at the men’s and boys camp at Calvary Bible Church in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.

When I received the invitation, I was genuinely excited… but if I’m honest, I was also incredibly nervous.

As I talked with the pastor beforehand, his excitement and encouragement meant so much, especially knowing I was bringing a group of CBU Aviation students with me. His confidence gave me confidence.

I chose to share a message from Psalm 37:3–5, inspired by a sermon I heard years ago from Pastor @ttimberlake . Even after all the preparation, the morning I was scheduled to speak, my stomach was in knots. On the drive over, I barely said a word because the nerves were so real.

There were only about 20 men and boys there, but it felt like I was standing before hundreds. In that moment, I remembered something @tyshoneroland once said:

“If you can’t do it for the few, how is God going to trust you with the hundreds?”

That reminder shifted my perspective. Faithfulness isn’t measured by the size of the audience, it’s measured by obedience.

I’m incredibly thankful for the opportunity to share what God has placed on my heart. I learned so much through this experience, and it reminded me that growth often begins where comfort ends.

I’m excited to continue saying “yes” whenever God opens a door, and I look forward to many more opportunities to encourage, teach, and share His Word, especially with the next generation of youth and young adults.
