Y’all hear from me on here once a year these days, but I turned 30 this month! Really proud of the community and life I’ve built, and I’m excited for every age going forward.

Big, beautiful life is the forever theme!! I think I’m most proud of all of the beautiful places I’ve committed to seeing + the beautiful people I’ve learned from in those beautiful places. I feel like a better person after every trip that I take and have vowed to keep chasing that feelinggggg 🥲

Year FOUR doing an international/solo/bday trip.
Throwing it back to the one that started at all: cuuuuuubbbaaaa in 2022! After this one, I was like, OK, yeah! I’m doing this every year, and no one is invited 🤪 these little trips are my favorite way to honor myself, trust myself, and re-introduce myself to myself.

Three years ago, I made a nonnegotiable promise to myself that I’d go on an international solo trip every year for my birthday!

Reminiscing on last year as I am getting ready for this year 🥲🇨🇴🇨🇴🇨🇴🇨🇴🇨🇴

Some people solo travel to “find themselves” but I solo travel because I know exactly who I am ❤️‍🔥

Excited to be brave! To learn! To explore! To eat! To dance! To laugh! To cry! To find my way! To meet new people to help me along the way! To fall in love with those people, and to fall more in love with myself.

New Orleans is sooo unserious ☠️ my favorite (and least favorite) part about her 🙃🌹

Our version of #runningofthebulls (waking up/drinking at 6am for @bigeasyrollerderby to chase us on rollerskates/smack ass with plastic bats) is still one of my favorite events of the year @nolabulls ❤️

HOLAAA FROM CUBA!
Day 5 of my second solo trip (my first out of the country)!
happy birthday eve to me, so naturally in the thick of Scorpio season, I spent the whole day crying by the water 😂 Mainly happy tears and a lot of shedding tears as I get ready to enter my 27th year tomorrow ❤️ (unfortunately everyone here thinks I look 18 as well 🥲)

I ate lobster, drank rum, got lost in waist-deep water, read/reflected a lot, and frolicked on this pretty secluded beach like a five-year-old.

no way I can write a caption long enough to explain this experience right now because I have 5 more days of exploring to do, but I am so very grateful, so proud of myself for literally navigating a foreign country alone, and I know I’m gonna come back loving myself soooooo much harder. taken in Viñales, Cuba by @camibar

bbg’s first solo trip!!

In honor of me spontaneously buying a plane ticket to cuba yesterday (???), a dump from earlier last month when I hopped on a plane by myself and went to Puerto Rico for 5 days with little to no plan 😅 damn near cried on the way to the airport because like Camille WUT are you doing ☠️

Ate like a queen (walked to the same ceviche truck 4 days in a row 🤤), got to practice my Spanish and salsa, jumped off cliffs, learned more about bomba y plena, and in between solo tings, met some beautiful people, both local and touring ❤️

so very proud of myself and so thankful for this reminder of how beautiful the world is outside my little bubble and how doable the “big” things are

Cheers to the first of many and to a life of thinking less about the thing and just doing the thing!!
