Early wake up, earlier nights. Mattress on the floor. Coffee by the ocean, sunkissed skin. Tangled hair from the salt and the bike. Views composed of all existing shades of blue. No phone reception and sudoku topless on the beach. Strangers asking for photos. Eating with your hands, showering with a bucket. Speaking broken bahasa but having the most gorgeous connection. Snorkeling on empty beaches, in awe of the untouched reef. Journaling for hours trying not be redundant about how blessed & grateful I am to experience such a beautiful life taken in Banggai Laut, Sulawesi Tengah, Indonesia by @camilleaudreyp

the ocean hates to see us coming!!!

Another gorgeous weekend spend exploring the Sechelt Arm. Paddled for about 20km (more or less 2 hours) & picked the beach we liked most!! Managed to find a spot elevated from the tide and a patch of grass so we could (try) to keep the tent sand free.

We had smaller camping gear this time around which allowed to bring more water (kinda essential but we didn’t have enough last time & had to ration the water on the paddle back) and we also have gotten much more quick and efficient to pack and carry the kayak in & out of the water. We somehow always arrive at our destination when its low tide so have to drag the kayak miles away still……

Nothing makes me feel more ecstatic than being outside for days, out of signal, in and out of the water as I please, full grubs on the beach.

It really does something to my brain and fills me with the most happiness to live a life that allows me to experience such freedom. Cup is soooo full its overflowing 🌞 taken in Sechelt, British Columbia by @camilleaudreyp

island life is all I ever want. Fresh produce everywhere, authentic shops, sunday market, terrible phone reception, wildlife everywhere you look and crystal clear water.

Had the best weekend just boppin from beach to beach, hiding from the rain under a tree, reading books at sunset. Just quality time through and through 🌞 taken in Salt Spring Island by @camilleaudreyp

idk if you heard but I went on a kayaking trip!!!!!

So cool to get out of your comfort zone and try something new that allows you to explore some more remote parts of BC, especially those only accessible by water. Spent the weekend playing around boats, swimming with seals and watching the sun go down while floating around in the most crystal clear water.

Go to bed when the sun goes down, get up with the sun rising. Every single second of your day is spent outside, paddling around hopping from island to island, barefoot in a bikini. Cliff jumping, dehydrated meals, salt water for a shower, offline maps only.
