To my first love,I started this journey on a Saturday morning in a grey jersey that was 3 sizes too big. Now, 17 years later I end my journey in Lehigh’s brown and white.Those years in-between were met with lot of cheers, laughter, lots of wins and lots of loses. As I step father away from playing, I will always remember running around at weekend tournaments with my teammates, all of the post goal celebration hugs, the countless hours spent working on the “perfect“ shot, the long drives and the many teammates that have become like a second family to me. Soccer has been a beautiful place for me to turn off my mind and let muscle memory take over. It has seen me at my highest high and my lowest lows, but with those I have always had my family and my teammates to pick me back up. Thank you to my family, my village, for all the time that they have sacrificed so that I could play the sport that love! I will carry all those life lessons with me and I begin to navigate the real world.Soccer, thank you for growing alongside me and the 4 bonus years I got here at Lehigh.
